What? Do you really want to sleep right now while at the same time the deepest discounts on outstanding games pop out of thin air? Insomnia is live and kicking during the next 24h of The GOG Sale – just check our main page and discover some of the best deals!

Here are some examples of upcoming titles present on the latest Insomnia Sale:

· ATOM RPG: Post-apocalyptic indie game
· The Bard's Tale Trilogy
· Don't Starve Alone Pack Plus
· Blasphemous

When are the deals on these titles going live and how deep will the discounts be? Well, we'll just have to wait and find out. ;-) Yet, be vigilant, as each great Insomnia deal will be valid only for an hour.

park_84: Meh, I missed a few, do you think the deals will come back at the end or something?
I doubt it – because of technical reasons. As these deals are limited (number of copies is tracked, which is a bit funny in terms of virtual products, but ok), I doubt GOG is able to offer them once again in the same format, but all at once.
Maybe some kind of rolling offers is possible? The sale ends 5th September, number of flash deals is 24, so maybe at some point they'll start to come back (one at a time)?

Oh, and all these offers are converted to regular discount, which is still "not so bad". In other words – these flash deals are not so different than regular discounts, so perhaps no reason to worry and deprive yourself of sleep ;)

Maybe I'm misremembering, but I'm pretty sure insomnia deals have always rolled-over three times. So if you missed a deal, there should be two opportunities left, before the end of the sale.

It seems the next one will be The Darkside Detective: A Fumble in the Dark.

Thanks jedi5002 for picking up the baton whilst I grabbed some sleep and got through the first couple of meetings at work this morning!

It doesn't look like I missed any *must haves* (not that I really need any more of a backlog than I already have! :-D )

Truberbrook really sold all copies?!
I saw Trüberbrook sell 223 copies.

ssling: Truberbrook really sold all copies?!
Actually, probably not - I need to edit that.

I just had the same message (all copies gone) on Darkside Detective but when I refreshed the page, there were plenty left. Unfortunately with Truberbrook I only caught it just as the game changed so when I refreshed the page it had moved on to SOMA.

You're almost correct, but in the last Insomnia sale they... well, let's say they didn't really think things through. Each offer was up for 6 hours, but in the event that you missed something you could try to grab it in the 1-hour encore at the end. There was no third pass and the second was much shorter than the first. But then they eventually realized that their mistakes made it very confusing and they puled the plug early, so some games didn't even have that second chance.

The one game I wanted and missed in its 6-hour showcase was among those that were not shown in the finale, of course. :-(

I'll try to find a link to its tracking thread.

Edit: It was past June. I knew it was recent.
This is the Sale's thread.

And the "Insomnia Rewind" thread, already in a post that lists things that went wrong or felt amateurish.

I really do hope we get more opportunities. Just bought Blasphemous and might have bought other games I’ve missed.

Yes it happens when deal ends and you don't refresh page.
