RIP insomnia sale, my card seems stuck for some error and the transaction is refused -_-
And Paypal seems currently unavailable on Gog..

EDIT: nvm, luckily after a while the card started working again. I even managed to complete the order of the expired deal, yess

LynetteC: 12. The Bard's Tale Trilogy [£11.39 -> £2.29 (80%), 199/1000 sold]
I had a browser tab open to glance at the Insomnia JSON data page, and when I last glanced at it with ~60 seconds left for The Bard's Tale Trilogy's promotion period, I could've sworn I saw the 'sold' field value was displayed as "205" ... can anyone else corroborate/confirm ?
LynetteC, I'll echo those thanking you for keeping up with the sales every hour and listing them for us. Gog had another insomnia sale a while back that I didn't see until towards the end, was looking for a tracking thread to see what I missed but never found one. This is super helpful so thanks again.

Fyi, for anyone on the fence about don't starve, there's roughly 15 minutes left and if you like survival games, this one's a no brainer for $5 with all the dlc included. I have it on steam but considering it here atm. Really good deal. Play the vanilla version first to get the mechanics down before trying any of the dlc.

I'm calculating the number sold from the number left that's displayed on the home page when the timer ends. For Bards Tale Trilogy, it said 801 copies. Of course, GOG's website isn't the most reliable one on the internet! ;-)

I was initially relying on constantly/repeatedly refreshing the GOG.com landing page on my web browser tab for the last GOG Insomnia promo event in June ... but the delay was several / dozen seconds long, so I quickly switched over to simply relying on the JSON data page, as you can refresh that and it is much more responsive (~1 second) so it yields more accurate 'end-of-the-hour' stats, such as the 'sold' quantity for a particular game, even a couple of seconds away from the end of the 1 hour period.

Also, it saves a person from having to do the extra arithmetic effort of calculating Number of Copies sold, derived from the landing page only gives Number of Copies remaining ... the JSON data page (JSON > insomniaDetails section) simply states the 'sold' counter value in real-time :)

UPDATE: A Short Hike's 'sold' counter was 52 (~1 second away from end of Insomnia 1 hour period)

Not too long left but gg.deals is showing that other than being free on Epic once this is the lowest price for A Short Hike. Of course they still aren't showing these insomnia prices so I'm guessing they don't show brief sales. It is a great game so I recommend it for anyone who hasn't tried it yet.

Thanks for taking up the mantle, LynetteC! At least this version is a tad bit more Insomnia-like. Good luck to all, sleepy heads!
Thanks LynetteC - I can't see prices listed in GBP, only in AUD by default ... so I don't want to confuse people by 'reposting' your growing Insomnia games list with AUD prices mixed in with GBP prices :-P

I can contribute by simply posting the JSON 'sold' counter value, and hopefully others can contribute / corroborate whilst LynetteC is offline/asleep

Update 1: The Mystery of the Druids [£5.00 -> £0.49 (90%) 148 sold]
Update 2: Cultist Simulator Anthology Edition - [£32.69 -> £11.44 (65%), 37 sold] - also confirmed by jedi5002
Update 3: GOG RPG Bundle - [$49.97 -> $6.99 (86%), 71 sold] ~2-3 seconds before end of 1 hour period
Update 4: Vaporum: Lockdown - [$17.99 -> $7.19 (60%), 36 sold] ~1-2 seconds before end of 1 hour period
Update 5: Elvira's Horror Bundle - [$9.99 -> $4.99 (50%), 96 sold] I was offline for a bit, some 20 minutes before the end of 1 hour period ... EDIT: thanks jedi5002 for filling in (96 copies sold)

I'm offline for the next few hours, so I can't be of much help with contributing reports of the sold numbers for the next lot of games (Darkside Detective, and others), hopefully others step up and help out what jedi5002 and LynetteC have posted thus far ...

How do we know there is one?

On the last Insomnia sale, there sometimes was no game on offer as an Insomnia deal at around this time of night.

There is an "upcomingInsomniaExists" field, and it is set to true. Previously when the sale was over, it was set to false.

My guess would be "GOG RPG Bundle". It just appeared as a "new" item on the catalogue. It's touted as "Hurry up! This is a limited offer!", yet it has no discount. And, it has no tags.

Meh, I missed a few, do you think the deals will come back at the end or something?
