What? Do you really want to sleep right now while at the same time the deepest discounts on outstanding games pop out of thin air? Insomnia is live and kicking during the next 24h of The GOG Sale – just check our main page and discover some of the best deals!

Here are some examples of upcoming titles present on the latest Insomnia Sale:

· ATOM RPG: Post-apocalyptic indie game
· The Bard's Tale Trilogy
· Don't Starve Alone Pack Plus
· Blasphemous

When are the deals on these titles going live and how deep will the discounts be? Well, we'll just have to wait and find out. ;-) Yet, be vigilant, as each great Insomnia deal will be valid only for an hour.

Oh, it was showing as sold out to me... I think it said 999/1000 and it looks like that is copies left, but it was grayed out and said all copies sold. I guess just an issue with the change over from the previous one.

I think you may already own it. I saw the same as it's in my library. I think it was given away for free at some point.

Is GOG doing that on purpose as a new strategy in order to thwart us from knowing what comes next? Or is it just happenstance that this one turned out like that?

There are 29 games with "Science" as their only tag, some of them really having very little to do with science (e.g. Retro First Friday Collection #4), so perhaps "Science" is GOG's default tag for games where none were added. And it just so happens that one of them is a somnia game.

Thanks LynetteC for taking up the baton / torch from helpo1, when the previous GOG Insomnia promotion was happening - that was my first time commenting and contributing to that excellent GOG community effort of recording, updating, maintaining, researching missing info on all those deals back then!

Just curious, its getting late over there in the UK where you seem to be based ? ... if you're going offline soon, feel free to give a heads up about that here, so that hopefully others can then step up and record the end-of-the-hour Sold number for each Insomnia (Aug 2022)-showcased game

I'm ok with the sale popping up out of nowhere...

... FYI GOG...

... IMO an insomnia sale should be ANNOUNCED to the community ahead of time (maybe just a teasing post that says "insomnia sale incoming soon?")...

... so they can plan for it. A courtesy where you may see more sales because of it.

It took me most of the day -- doing life stuff -- to sit down and...

... see an insomnia sale was running alongside the greater sale! Having missed a number of insomnia games already, I'm losing a lot of enthusiasm for the promotion. Remember, you want people excited and ready to spend money...

... not confused and a bit deflated. ;)

I've missed so many good games... I love+hate these sales... screw it staying up until 1am to grab what I can already missed to many I wanted!

Thanks valkord. Yes, I'm in the UK and it's currently 2am. I'll probably be around for at least one more game before I head off for a few hours sleep - I really am an insomniac! :-D
