Ugh, this is really bad. Somehow I've hoped that chinese social credit dystopias wouldn't hit us in a forseeable future, but now we get it in form of billionaires pc agenda investments.

At least there are still plenty of old and indy games. Games which don't want to "portray a diverse society" or want to make a better world with questionable values, games that, instead, just want to entertain.

By the way, the value of the company's shares took a massive dive after the release of Cyberpunk 2077, going from an all-time high of 446 zł to 113 zł now.

Vainamoinen: Doctor Who has lost me as a viewer. Actually, with that last old white dude, not with the woman. The old white dude was absolutely okay, as was the previous. But the plots just became megalomaniac nothings that meant shit to me. To tie the loss of viewership to the advent of a female protagonist is pathetic. Fuck, Season 4 practically had a great female protagonist already, a true equal to the Doctor, didn't ever take his shit, and to me that was and will always be the best duo in the neo-variant of the series.
Clara killed Doctor Who for us, just such an awfully written Mary Sue of a character.

It wasn't the Actress, she's great in other stuff, the character was just tedious.
oh man, more chud content in this forum
I'd be more interested in a new Boycotting GOG topic than I am in this one. When it comes to discussing something like "ESG", there seem to be too many baked-in assumptions of what one has to like or dislike.

I was out already when Clara came in. The last Season I bought on BR was Season 6, and Season 6 was not something I'd ever watch again. My doctor is David Tennant, no homo (or wait, if I ever turn gay, it will definitely be for David Tennant), and my companion is and will always be Donna. Because she had a personality and an ego on the doctor's level. Not sure how I'll get to watch that special next year, but I'll be back for that one moment to see the doctor, Donna and Wilf again.

Hate it all

ESG sounds like Epic Game Store, lets just hate it for that

Environment, bah hum bug, burn it all, well be fine, no one should be telling corporations what to do, they're above the laws be it man made or natural.

Social, hate with extra hate, people should be worked until they drop and replaced like toner in a printer (chucking the empty toner/dead employee in the nearest lake)

Governance... didn't you har me Corporation exist outside law, no governance. Hatey mcHate hate!

Telika: Oh noes.

That is even worse than featuring a woman in star wars.
But how bad would you rate this then, literally making space bombers DROPPING bombs bad, baddies somehow forgetting that they could send a few star destroyers to jump a short distance ahead to be able to approach the resistance fleet from the opposite direction bad or how trivially easy it apparently is to turn a hyperdrive into a weapon of mass destruction bad?

I am just saying that I can't imagine any way I would like the sequel trilogy as long as those things are in it even if the main character had been a green self-replicating gelatinous cube that had to spend half a year learning to use the Force with Luke who had actually gone to discover lost Jedi teachings to be able to bring back Ben from the dark side...

Donna was brilliant, Tate knocked it out the ball park with her.

Donna was a smart person that was always told she wasn't, so much she ended up believing it, the doctor let her escape that. The Doctor's Daughter episode was brilliant for that, she saw that it was dates on the structures.

These films aren't great, but that wasn't the point of those who started their hysterical campaigns and online harrassment at the sight of the cast. Same with the ghostbusters reboot thingy, which was godawful (no dialogues and no characters, pure reliance on "try to be funny in various way in front of the camera" ad libs) but was also declared terrible way before its release just because oh noes there are the womens in it what have you done to my testicles.

Anyway, this is not the topic of this thread. The topic of this thread is how we'll all boycott GOG until they pledge to pollute more, to keep their staff ethically pure and to never prosecute rapists.

That Doctor's Daughter episode! The daughter of a former Doctor actor who became the wife of a Doctor actor playing the Doctor's daughter. It still boggles the mind. And then there's this former and present companion thing going on. Love it! Two hearts! ;)

Please tell me that was the first time you watched anything Star Wars related.

Thought of another bit.

You didn't see Clara, but when she first enters the TARDIS, The Doctor is expecting the usual "its bigger on the inside" comment. Instead she says "Its smaller on the outside", The Doctor is put "off foot" and its a "look how smart I am" moment for Clara. Except its not. There's nothing clever, just a twist on an expected line.

Danna, after being told the TARDIS automatically translates all known languages instantly wonders but what happens if I speak that language, and then tests it speaking Latin at some Roman stall holder.
