1.37.4 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- If your ship was burning torch or thruster discharge at the very last second of the "return to Enceladus" cutscene, it could make thruster flares disappear completely from subsequent dives.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything worse than what is working in the current stable branch.
1.38.0 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- New simulation range controls in the settings menu allow you to limit the physics simulation area and improve performance on low-end systems.
- The settings menu will no longer overflow the Steam Deck screen when you increase the HUD size.
- Adjusted the layout of the Settings menu to fit additional controls.

Feedback Focus: New physics simulation range setting. Using this setting can significantly limit the number of asteroids simulated by the game, improving the performance drastically - but will cause the game to lose track of asteroids much sooner. Any performance improvement will sacrifice fidelity of the simulation, but for some low-end systems that compromise might result with more enjoyable experience.
1.39.1 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- You can now call ships you talked with previously; most of the time, they will answer.

Feedback Focus: This release includes a rather comprehensive dialogue tree overhaul required to ensure that the dialogue flow you get makes sense. There are over 50 dialogue branches subtly changed. While I tried to be as comprehensive with the changes as possible, there is a possibility that I missed something or one of the changes won't play out as I intended. You should never be in a situation where you'll be worse off than previously, but if you get any weird dialogue flow, NPCs changing their mind in a way that doesn't make sense, or you detect an exploit you could abuse to milk the same rewards multiple times, please report it - ideally with a screenshot of the dialogue, or your log files.
1.39.2 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- Having your NDCI collision alert set to 10 seconds triggered a zero division, which could gradually degrade the performance of your game during dives.

Feedback Focus: Still looking for quirks in the new dialogue setup.
1.39.3 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- You can't milk pirates for multiple different jobs by traveling alongside them and periodically calling them back anymore.

Feedback Focus: Still looking for quirks in the new dialogue setup.
1.39.4 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- If your crew recognizes somebody on a ship you are talking with and you let them chat, they won't recognize somebody else they don't like the next time you call.

Feedback Focus: Still looking for quirks in the new dialogue setup.
1.40.1 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- Zoom controls for the map on the Astrogator panel in OMS.
- Map labels on the dive target selection screen and the Astrogator panel will now keep their original size when you zoom in and out.
- Enhanced graphics on Enceladus stations. The station now has multiple-resolution images for all distances, so it will look more consistent when viewed at different zoom levels. Most notably, this removes subtle shimmering of the edges when the camera is zoomed away.
- OCP-209 HUD now has Bearing and Orientation readouts.

Feedback Focus: Still looking for quirks in the new dialogue setup.
1.41.0 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- New astrogation protocol. POI which you lost track of will still be selectable on your astrogation console - they are still contained in the ship logs, after all, it's just your current astrogator that has trouble finding them. You may attempt an astrogation jump to such a location, but you will arrive at the location that is the best guess of your current astrogator.
- New icons on the astrogation console to visually represent how much tracking time is left for each destination.
- You can't lend money and get repaid by people in need over and over again.

Feedback Focus: The changes in the astrogation protocol introduce a significant shift in the astrogation balance, as you don't need to obsessively visit each of the locations you want to use as waypoints anymore. The specific details - such as the accuracy of a jumping to an expired destination - are subject to change based on your feedback and our own internal tests. Besides feedback for astrogation protocol, I'm still looking for quirks in the new dialogue setup.
1.41.1 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- Astrogation re-balance. Since you can now travel to expired astrogation targets, the base tracking time of your crew was lowered by 25% to account for that.
- The drift of expired astrogation targets is now consistent. If the location you want to find drifts retrograde, it will still be retrograded on subsequent visits. This allows you to employ search patterns over multiple visits to find it again.
- Fixed certain UI elements showing you the exact location, direction and distance to a POI that you lost track of, making the search trivial.
- Claim beacons will now return to the Enceladus Prime station automatically when your claim period expires. Previously, if you did not equip it again and travelled to exactly same spot, you could find a defunct beacon waiting for you, just as if you just released it.

Feedback Focus: Re-balance of the astrogation protocol. I'm specifically looking for feedback on how easy it is to find an expired destination (which will increase in difficulty the longer it is expired) and if searching for such a destination is fun. Besides feedback for the astrogation protocol, I'm still looking for quirks in the new dialogue setup.
1.42.1 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- Additional icons on the Astrogator console allow you to see different classes of astrogation destinations more easily.
- You can now label your astrogation destinations with different colors, making it easier to distinguish one moonlet from another.
- The mouse wheel will now act as zoom control on your Astrogator console.

Feedback Focus: New astrogation controls. I'm still looking for feedback on how easy it is to find an expired destination and if searching for such destination is fun, but I'd like you to also report if you find the new labeling options useful. Besides feedback for astrogation protocol, I'm still looking for quirks in the new dialogue setup.
1.42.2 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- New layout of your astrogation console. It both addresses the destination description overflowing the selection space and makes your choice of highlight for the destination easier to spot.

Feedback Focus: New astrogation console visuals. I'm also still looking for feedback on astrogation balance, finding lost contacts, as well as any dialogue quirks coming from the most recent dialogue changes.
1.42.4 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- You can now hide and show locations you lost track of on your Astrogator console.
- Updated translations.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything that is working worse than in the current stable branch.
1.42.5 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- Adjusted astrogation highlight and mineral colors to be easier to distinguish and more readable.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything that is working worse than in the current stable branch.
1.42.9 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- Triskellion-Armstrong suffered a station-wide beacon coordination tightbeam service outrage, rendering all the B8 Claim Beacons inoperative for over 48 hours. Lacking tightbeam connections, most beacons deployed in the rings initiated emergency return protocol and returned to the station. The company deployed many drone carriers to place all the beacons back in their registered claim locations free of charge.

Feedback Focus: Release candidate. Please report anything that is working worse than in the current stable branch.
1.42.10 just hit the Experimental branch, featuring:
- The Enceladian Tuning crew was found to often leave the ship computer running after the initial examination of the ship. This wasted quite a lot of power, and caused the performance on the Enceladus station to degrade after you entered the Tuning menu, until you left the station. The crew was instructed to power-down any hardware they used after they finished working on it.
- Improved performance of the Fleet and Dealer menus.

Feedback Focus: Performance at Enceladus.
