Dustnight: Hello,

Here's the answer I've got from Gog :

[i]Hello,

Thank you very much for contacting us and at the same time, apologies for such a late reply. Our service is currently receiving a larger than usual amount of user inquiries.

Due to our storage provider's outage, we were experiencing technical issues that may have caused difficulties in downloading and updating your games both through the GOG GALAXY client and your library.

The issue should have been addressed by now so if possible, please be sure to try and download your game again and see if the problem will persist. If the game still refuses to download itself properly, then please be sure to let me know and I will be sure to escalate this matter further if need be.

Apologies for any inconvenience caused and if you have any other questions that you would like to ask, then feel free to reply to this e-mail and let me know.

Best regards,
Falka

I don't know about you but I don't seem to make it work !
Got stuck again at 92%, I will try one last time and ask a refound if it doesn't work this time (i'm at my 6th download)
Now I have this problem as of last night, but I didn't before. I've deleted the temporary files, re-downloaded the last 10GB a few times, rebooted my router to cycle my out-facing connection, still stuck at the same place every time.

Now I can't uninstall either to try to start over completely, says uninstall fails.

lol at all the "Thats it, I guess I'm getting a refund." cause of a single download issue thats been going on for less than 1 day.

I didn't know so many Karens played D&D

garba: horribly pissed off and will never buy anything onthis crappy platform ever again. Spent the whole day downloading this using my mobile data plain.

Ma vaffanculo GOG.
LOL, dude, listen to yourself, you sure you were ever a fan of this platform? What an insane turn because ONE game is giving you an issue, lol, this community is the worst.

Nothing that I tried worked for me. I'm sure the manual download from the website page would work, but where I live I have a data cap. I had already downloaded over 100 gigs of game. I shouldn't have to use tricks to get a game purchase to download.

I've given up and refunded. This whole experience has really soured me to Galaxy. Especially after learning that this is nothing new. That this sort of thing has been going on for years with Galaxy.

I'm with you, shmargin. I came to this thread to see if it was a problem on my end or something that needed to be resolved by the boffins at GOG and/or Larian. I was embarassed to see how much childish whining there was by what are presumably adults. I bought the game recently, I wanted to play it, there's a technical problem that will soon be fixed and I will do something else for a few days.

For the French speaking posters here...

Well kudos to you for filling out a ticket unlike most of the shriekers. But you are at the second step of problem resolution. He said something has changed and try it now and tell me if it works. And you need to tell him it doesn't. And then he might be able to find a further problem that will fix everyone's issue (not my issue, I use offline files and I am up and running).

I didn't say it, but I answered their email to tell them it didn't work for me, couple hours ago (around 3:30 pm).

Good on you then.
The problem isn't the downloading. It's what the client is doing with the download package once it gets to a certain point

stig_math: In the installation directory : [whatever]/Baldurs Gate 3/Data

yupihouse: Thank you so much!!!

I followed what you wrote here and it worked.

1. quit Gog Galaxy
2. Delete the word ".download" from "Game.pak.download" in the data folder
3. Delete "Game.pak.state" in the data folder
4. Start GOG Galaxy.

On my PC, this completes the installation!
OK alle louya alle louya alle louya louya !!!! Thanks stig_math and yupihouse for write best, it function people ! Very thanks
