Same problem here - it's been stuck there for hours and I've restarted GOG Galaxy countless times (and have tried rebooting my computer). Looks like I'll be asking for a refund very soon.

Edit: Just bought the game too, so completely fresh install. :/

I've learned that this is a GoG issue. Not BG3. Just doing a search for "gog install 92% stuck" got me results for both Pathfinder games, Age of Wonders 4, Cyberpunk, etc. Even smaller, older games like Underrail. Posts going years back. I bought this on GoG because I like their DRM stance and as far as I understand GoG gives better percentages of sales to the developer than Steam does. I'm starting to regret that though. I just bought the game today. I'd like to play it.

I would guess this is an issue with their servers. It works for me. But you might want to just download the offline installer using a web browser.

Same. Had a couple of hours tonight won't have them tomorrow. Oh well. I hope they address this soon and make a visible post so we know what to do.

Il semble que l'on peut lancer le jeux directement depuis le dossier d'installation, je suis passé par le "launcher Larian" et j'ai du télécharger manuellement .NET 6.0 pour le faire fonctionner.
Il y a un avertissement expliquant qu'l y a une disparité de données et des fichiers altérés : principalement des fichiers concernant Direct X, j'ai donc installé manuellement DX.

Mais le jeux plante au lancement.

Du coup pour pouvoir jouer j'ai demandé le remboursement et je l'a pris sur Steam ... Bien joué GOG !

It seems that the game can be launched directly from the installation folder. I went through the "Larian launcher" and had to manually download .NET 6.0 to make it work. There's a warning explaining that there's a disparity of data and altered files, mainly related to Direct X files, so I manually installed DX.

However, the game crashes upon launch.

As a result, in order to be able to play, I requested a refund and got it on Steam...

One solution I found was to download offline backup game installers and the patches like this if it let me play

Same problem here. I've tried all the solutions except downloading the offline files which just seems like an unnecessary bother. That's one of the reasons they created galaxy right, to make everything easier?

I also just bought the game and have the same issue.

The file it's getting stuck downloading is Data\Game.pak

I found a solution on the baldur's gate series forum here, used a VPN (privadovpn is free for example and easy to use), choose a US server and killed every gog process in the task manager, relaunch gog galaxy and boum its 'done !

Same - Stuck at 92% with less than 1 minute to go apparently...... 4+ hours later no motion. I've gone through all the usual trouble shooting steps, and even restarted the download with no luck.

GOG need to sort out their servers.
