Seems dishonest.
Just look at the newest store comments.

I love GOG but this i the first time they have disappointed this way.
They need to address the problem honestly ASAP.
PS: Don't update until they do...
This is a post in a gamer forum, not a support ticket. The one who marked one of the responses as the solution is the person who started the topic.

relazy40: Simply renaming the ".download" file to ".pak" within the data directory sufficed for me.

1. Close GOG
2. Go to Install Folder
3. Go to Data Folder
4. Rename the File with .download in to .pak

For instance, in my situation, this applied to the file named Game.pak.download. I proceeded by straightforwardly altering it to Game.pak.

5. Start GOG (Then the installation will start automatically.)

Then finaly enjoy playing
For my part, I deleted the game (when i was stuck at 92%), and redownloaded the game and I have no problem after.
Lets Play !

SIEGEHACKT: Only question i have is ... where to find "Game.pak.download"? I dont seem to have it. Yes i am stuck at 92.
I didn't have this file there at all, I only had the Gustav.pak. But I managed to make it work. Look at my post on page 4, maybe it can work for you too.
Solucioné el problema descargando e instalando esto:

.NET Desktop Runtime 6.0.21 (Windows X64 installer) desde la página web oficial.

Encontré esta solución en un foro de Reddit. Intenté colocar el enlace pero GOG lo rechaza.
