That was an epic load of crap. :-/
I very nearly sent in another stack to suicide and finish off the badly wounded survivors, just out of pure spite. If the halfling town rebels, I'm very inclined to burn those mothers to the ground.

Round One was independents jumping in to kick my ass in a fight I'm pretty sure I'd have otherwise won.

Round Two was the lack of verification screen before an attack. I care less about the game not showing me the concealed units that would have convinced me not to start the fight and more "Btw, I'm going to function in a different way than you've ever seen me behave before. Surprise M***** F*****!"

Sigh. Maybe I'm just misremembering and being bitter about it.

Guilty as charged. I attacked when his stack was next to a stack of guards of alignment close to mine. And then concealed a bunch of units to encourage his attack on my nearly defenseless hero.

A good solution would be to go back to YOUR SIDE OF THE MAP!

I fell afoul of both of those a few PBEMs ago, shame we forgot to mention them.
