Halflings, Day 1

Unlike our neighbors in this small land for small people, we look for the biggest enemy around and charge right at them. Everyone in the Halfling empire knows that "the bigger they are, the harder they fall!"

Hopefully David shows up to help us in our battle. (Technically his name is Bonaparte which is quite a good name for our diminutive hero. We'll find out if the RNG gods are supportive of our all out taunting assault tomorrow.)

OOC: What are the standard spells not to use? Just the various "X Mastery", or domain spells, or particular summons, or what?

No spell is off limits unless the map creator or game set up person says otherwise. However, the mastery spells are way too damn powerful so they should probably be considered off limits (imho).

A common one disallowed by map creators are call hero since it can summon a Level 20 hero that totally overpowers the scenario. I've actually never cast the spell, even when playing solo... You can summon whatever you want. It takes so damn long to research and then summon a good unit that it's tough to get something super overpowered. Even Gold Dragons which rock take so damn long that you might be better off with quicker castings.
Hm, fairly small map. I think it won't be long before we meet others.

We are archons but we are apparently good at death magic and first thing map wanted us to research was spell very useful to us, unholy darkness. We switched for now but we'll keep it in mind.

We would like to have Bonaparte as hero. Ours is called L.O.. :-/

My starting town started off with very little so it will take some time to build up my army. At least there are several mines within reach.

It's a good thing that the big dude didn't get more than one chance to trample Napoleon. Taking 12 damage from a single attack is rough... Especially since it might be a while till we get a chance to heal up.

Hate nymphs. At least FU2 wasn't permanently seduced. -.-

Question: how should I send the map, after mistakenly hitting cancel after ending my turn? I'm not sure I can reproduce that last battle. :S

Manually send the .ASG file from your "Email In" folder to Vitek.

Btw, re: Nymphs - Incredible unit if you can get one on your side. Being able to permanently charm units is a great way to quickly build an army on a small map like this. Vitek kicked everyone's butts a few games ago on a small map when he had a couple of Nymphs to begin.
