user avatar@stassieI've spent endless hours playing with friends and it's always a blast. The mix of strategy and action makes it so fun (and challenging)!! Let this game NEVER die.
Red Ninja: End of Honor
Red Ninja: End of Honor
user avatar@shivooooooOh man, it so cool game. The design, the art, the character, just one post on the internet and thousands of people remembered how good it was. This needs to be republished so more people can enjoy it.
Gauntlet Dark Legacy
Gauntlet Dark Legacy
user avatar@Zephosbl1This was the game that really brought the family together. My dad, older sister, younger brother and I would get together, sometimes even going with those crazy cheat code names for stuff like wacky hidden skins or permanent Pojo. I'm the only one that kept gaming all these years later, and while there's some games that scratch a similar itch to this, nothing's quite like Dark Legacy. It's really one of a kind, and I'd love for more folks to experience it!

user avatar@lemon_887Developers from another studio are suing TVGS for copyright infringement and are attempting to have it removed from steam completely. I want to preserve this game by buying it on GOG and being able to play it in the event TVGS loses the lawsuit. Thanks

user avatar@DrBaguetteI love this game and its sequel. Sadly it is nearly impossible to play them nowadays. I would love to have the chance to experience those games of my childhood. The music, the gameplay and the mechs are awesome.
Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos
Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos
user avatar@Honved77I had never stopped to think about how games can die until I saw what Blizzard did with Warcraft 3... A legend has been unceremoniously destroyed and replaced by a deformed, grotesque aberration. If there's one game that deserves to come back from the grave, it's this one.
Black & White 2
Black & White 2
user avatar@szymerzI remember first time that I've played BnW2, my friend's dad bought the Collectors Edition and we played it for the whole weekend. To this day I remember that I couldn't put a leash on my creature because I skipped the tutorial, this game taught me to never skip the tutorials. It was funny, quirky and looking back at it now, not very hard (especially compared to BnW 1) but it was ton of fun. As I've completed BnW2 many many times, I went through Impress, Army and mixed way of achieving victory and I've got to say, most of the time I used army only for defence to focus on city building but watching my creature fight alongside bows and swords was a sight to behold too. This game awakened the love for RTS, city-builders and management games in me, I vividly remember being proud of myself for designing a working city that could govern itself without any issues. It had a lot of flaws such as AI doing weird stuff, creature locking itself between buildings etc. but it was all overshadowed by the graphics, miracles, easter eggs and hidden mechanics (looking at you immortal man), marvelous voice acting and OST. Sadly, due to the Lionhead studios being first bought and then closed, there are issues with intellectual property and rights to the franshise which saddens me deeply. It's sad that we probably will never see a Black andWhite 3 or a Remaster of the originals but to big corporations 'It's just a game, forgotten and shelved for eternity'. For many of us this game is a treasured memory, a medium that allowed us to have mighty ton of fun or even introduction to management and god-sim games. For me it's not a game, it's a part of my journey growing up, that still holds up even to this day.

user avatar@AdakanerIt is one of the most special game for me. I played on Dreamcast and i still cannot forget it. I would love to play it again. Atmosphere is kust amazing. Please bring it back
Wolfenstein
Wolfenstein
user avatar@polytetrafluroThe game shares more black magic, as did 'Return to castle Wolfenstein', but you as the player get to choose what type to use and when. I particularity liked the veil. Such a shame Activision pulled it from the shelves. I solely have a Windows 7 machine just for playing it and nothing else. I want this game on GOG as the copy protection prevents it from working on Windows 10 / 11.
Drakan: Order of the Flame
Drakan: Order of the Flame
user avatar@GabboThere still isn't really a modern gaming experience like this. Truly open world gameplay - approach the overworld on foot with Rynn hack and slashing and magicing her way through the Wartok menace or on Arokh's back dog fighting other dragons or liquidating any Wartok too stupid to run away from several tonnes of angry lizard. Seemlessly moving between Rynn and Arokh's gameplay as you see fit. Want to run around a cave system? Do it. Want to call Arokh and fly to some little nook in the mountains on a whim? Do it, you might find hidden treasure! Rynn's truly was the best of the original Lara Croft-alikes of the late 90s. Great soundtrack, voice acting, solid graphics (for the time), and even a thriving mod scene give more than enough reason to jump back into Order of the Flame over and over. Thankfully PCXL and other pc gaming magazines of my teenage years brought this game to my attention and I've been shouting about it to anyone who would listen ever since.
Silent Hill 2 (Classic)
Silent Hill 2 (Classic)
user avatar@AmedeusMaximusIt was the first game in the Silent Hill series I ever played, grabbing a cheap copy of the PS2 version from my local pawn shop when I was in high school. It remains as one of my favorite survival horror games of all time and one of my favorite comfort games to return to for an afternoon when I don't feel like doing too much. The music, characters, atmosphere, even the sometimes cheesy voice acting, all act as part of the experience. It's the first survival horror game I was able to convince my best friend to play, and we still love revisiting this gem on occasion when we play games together.
Oni
Oni
user avatar@TeofilCRThis game made my childhood. My father initially told me about Oni. I remember playing it a lot, so much so that I finished it over 50 times, without exaggeration. I first started playing Oni on the PS2, and I was very used to the controls. After years of hiatus, I bought my second PC, a weak one, with a GPU-GT710 and an old-fashioned Intel Pentium. After that, I started playing again, hundreds of other memories on that PC. Then I tried the modes provided in AE (Anniversary Edition), being designed by the Oni community, which I respect enormously. This PC died out in 2022, when I took advantage of the situation and started saving money for a powerful PC. I found the necessary components (an I5 12400F and RTX 3060 with 12VRAM) for me it was more than enough, and on January 31, 2023, I built my first mid-range PC. 2023-2024 were the years in which I played Oni the most. I had finished the game over 20 times with or without mods, trying to post on my YouTube channel. This thing motivated me to continue with a Speedrun, but I got stuck every time at Level 5, at the skip with the Screaming Cannon. So, Oni will remain in my soul, and that of many veteran players, I'm sure it revolutionized the vision of gaming in the 2000s in some way.
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VII
user avatar@pabbsterI would like this game on GOG so we'd have a version *without* the silly antiquated online login of the Steam version that effectively locks you out of your own game when there's a sale and there's too much people trying to get in. It's FF7. It's single player. Please. Japanese version would be appreciated, too.
Freelancer
Freelancer
user avatar@jammi93I first played Freelancer in 2006. I remember being absolutely captivated by the game, and at age 12, enthralled by the campaign. Of course, I also thought the game was punishingly hard, and eventually gave up on it after being repeatedly killed by Corsairs in Omega-41 I couldn't escape from. After a break and coming back later on, I found out I'd done this to myself, by not realising afterburners or engine kill existed. That was a real gamechanger. What turned Freelancer from a nostalgic memory of my childhood to my all-time favourite game was the online modding community. I started playing the Discovery mod in 2007, which is basically a full scale expansion pack that massively extends the game in the aftermath of the campaign. I jumped onto their hosted multiplayer server and started looking around the dozens of new systems and ships. It was a roleplay server with 200 concurrent players online, and that immediately hooked me. The game's lore and environment were suddenly transformed from an interesting backdrop to the inspiration that drives conflict for real players and factions in this magical MMO experience. I've been playing Discovery on and off for 18 years at this point (Jesus Christ) and the community there is still going strong, with multiple mod releases per year. If you want the 2025 Freelancer experience, I'd wholeheartedly recommend checking out the Freelancer HD Edition mod for a crisp campaign play-through, followed by the Discovery mod for a radically expanded game and multiplayer experience.
The Sims: Complete Collection

user avatar@mkrajewMy adventure with this game ended once I maxed out my income and bought everything I wanted. However, my wife loved the game and played a lot more than I did, so I’d love to purchase it for her as a gift.

Prey
Prey
user avatar@jdub902I just played through this game for the first time recently. The puzzles and gameplay are ground breaking for its time. Great story and amazing to have a Native American protagonist. A must play for enthusiasts and game preservationists. Deserves to be among some of the best FPS
.Hack//Infection
.Hack//Infection
user avatar@MysteryCorgiUnfortunately, .hack is the unloved middle child of Bandai Namco stuck between Digimon and SAO. The Sequel games from the "second season" of the .hack series were already remade, so it's only right to make these historic gems accessible...especially since the 25th Anniversary will be in a couple of years. I ask folks to please just give these games a chance.
Silent Hill
Silent Hill
user avatar@almeidadiOne of my favorite franchises, and it frustrates me how this game is still only playable with emulation, I played it on the PS3, and still think the experience could have been better, even though, it's still one of best horror games I've ever played. If Silent Hill gets a PC port, with more configuration, resolution support, etc., I will definitely get it.
Sonic Unleashed
Sonic Unleashed
user avatar@SomeonetookMeepWe know for a fact that while there has not been an offical PC port there was one in the works. This is one of the most deserving sonic games that has never been on PC, and especially with GOG could use it, as while I have played a little bit of the ps2/wii version there are two whole versions to play and perserve, aside from the more well known PS3/Xbox360 editions. (or we could even mention the Java version)
Spec Ops: The Line
Spec Ops: The Line
user avatar@dumbsvilleREALThis game is a brutal exploration of morality, war, and delusion. It is an important game that has been endlessly explored and remains as one of gaming's own Apocalypse Now. Put this game back.
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare
user avatar@polyek119This was the first game I have ever played that made me feel like I was watching a Hollywood movie. I felt hooked up to this bc of the story, characters and plot twist you get there. Narration was made a way that makes me feel like I am really saving the world.
Digimon World
Digimon World
user avatar@HalfDraggThis game is such a charming masterpiece that really shows the roots of digimon as a franchise and deserves to be played by more people, and be available again for modern fans of the franchise to enjoy
American McGee's Alice
American McGee's Alice
user avatar@SargonAeltherThis game introduced me to the world of twisted & dark fairy tales. The story, the setting, the gameplay, the art style, the soundtrack - all incredible, especially for its time. I'd love to see this game, and its sequel, preserved DRM-FREE. If possible, I'd love to see an art book and the soundtrack being sold alongside the game!

Freelancer
FreelancerEight hundred years prior to the start of our story, bitter conflict divided all of mankind. A handful of colonists struck out on their own to begin anew - far away from the Earth and its turmoil. Several ships were launched with enough equipment and supplies to give the hundreds onboard a fighting chance - but since the area around far-off Sirius had never been surveyed, no one really knew what to expect. What they found was a new frontier of free-flowing natural resources, unexplored territories, great wonders and lurking dangers. Each ship, representing the clusters of people and their earthly place of origin, settled into different parts of the galaxy pre-selected by their ship-board computer to give them the best chance of survival. Life was hard in the beginning, but over the 800 years the different colonies prospered and expanded their territories, claiming more and more systems for their own. Survival and propagation eventually led to growth and profit as each of the colonies developed specialties and fostered commerce. As the colonies grew and time passed their connections with their roots on Earth dwindled and they lost their memories of the conflicts of the past. Soon their attention was dominated by new, more immediate conflicts. Feelings of lost ancestral connection spurred anachronism in the look of the great cities, and created a somewhat distorted image of each colony's cultural heritage. In the ever-expanding outer edge of the territories, frontier lawlessness prevailed. The Houses: Each shipboard colony that left Earth carried some memory of its origins in its name. The Liberty carried Americans, The Bretonia flew from The United Kingdom and surrounding territory, The Kusari from Asia, and the Rheinland launched with Germanic cargo. As each ship settled and colonies began to expand, they knew little about each other and their advancing development. Finally, little by little, the individual colonies found each other and began to set up trade routes to link their systems for commerce and solidarity. Today, with each colony firmly rooted in its respective corner of the galaxy, the colonies rely heavily on each other for trade and industry but also compete for resources and new territories in the Border Worlds. The colonies mandate member governments in "The New Alliance" within the Sirius sector. To control conflicts, each colony has forged alliances and treaties with others as they have grown. Competition remains fierce, however. Struggles rage for supremacy in business, commerce, resources, power and control. There can be tenuous peace between colonies' political agendas, but the grabs for holdings constantly unsettle the volatile frontier.

Silent Hill
Silent HillSilent Hill is the first installment in the Silent Hill series of psychological survival horror video games. Unlike earlier survival horror games that focused on protagonists with combat training, the main character Harry Mason is an average man. The gameplay consists of combat, exploration, and puzzle-solving. The controller vibration is used to indicate Harry's heartbeat and will vibrate on low health. The player must regularly enter an inventory screen to check Harry's health, use items, and equip different weapons.

Dino Crisis 2
Dino Crisis 2
A year has passed since the operation to retrieve Dr. Kirk.Third Energy, both a source of "ultimate clean energy" and a potential "ultimate weapon," has proven to be dangerously unpredictable. The government, having taken control of the project from Dr. Kirk, continued its development. Then, the “accident” happened once again. The research city of Edward City was completely destroyed in an explosion from the Third Energy reactor—an event far more catastrophic than the previous accident. In response, the government launched a rescue mission to retrieve the research data and any remaining personnel. To reach Edward City, believed to have been displaced in time by the reactor’s explosion, the government deployed an experimental, untested “time gate” device to send a rescue team back in time. Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater
Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake EaterMetal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater is the follow up to Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. It is the first prequel in the series, taking the series to the year 1964. The player takes the role as the series' original antagonist, Big Boss, then known as Naked Snake. MGS3 is the first game in the series to take place in a jungle. This unique setting created an opportunity for new mechanics. The player can adapt to the environment by swapping Snake's camouflage, hunt animals and gather plants for food. This iteration in the series introduced a new feature in which the player must apply medicine and perform medical procedures on Snake if he is damaged in combat. Apart from the survival themed features, the controls and gameplay of the game are very similar to Metal Gear Solid 2. Like other Metal Gear games, the focus is on stealth, but the player can go through the entire game like a shooter if they choose to. Throughout the game Snake acquires weapons of all types; non-lethal firearms, handguns, sniper rifles, machine guns, shotguns, sub-machine guns, and explosives. Metal Gear Solid 3 was the first game to implement the CQC (close quarters combat) system. CQC allowed Snake to beat enemies down to knock them out, or put them in a chokehold to knock them out, kill them, or and/or question them. Metal Gear Solid 3's health system required the player to occasionally pause the game and treat Snake's ailments. When Snake is shot, there is a chance that the bullet didn't pass through him, requiring the player to use a knife to remove the bullet, apply disinfectant, apply styptic and bandage the wound. This was done through a submenu in the pause screen. Other ailments the player must treat Snake for include: leeches, broken bones, burns, cut, arrow/bolts/needles, stomach sickness, colds, and food/venom poisoning. Adding to the survival elements of the game, Snake Eater lives up to its name by requiring the player to scavenge food for Snake. Under the life bar there is stamina bar. If Snake does not eat any food the bar depletes, causing various effects. When the stamina bar is low, the player's ability to aim is severely handicapped, Snake's hands will shake in the first person aiming mode. Just like real life, Snake's stomach can also rumble, enemy soldiers can hear this, and will be alerted to Snake's presence.

Parasite Eve II
Parasite Eve IIParasite Eve II is an action role-playing survival horror video game released exclusively for the PlayStation. The game was developed by Square and published in Japan in 1999 and in both North America and, unlike the previous game, in PAL regions in 2000. It is the sequel to Parasite Eve and the second game in the series of the same name. Parasite Eve II is set several years after the events in the original game. The protagonist from the first game, Aya Brea, also features in this game as the playable character. She becomes involved with another outbreak of Mitochondrial creatures. Gameplay diverges from the previous game: battles take place in real time and the area of action is less restrictive. The approach is more typical of traditional survival horror games, although some role-playing elements are retained.

Super Street Fighter II
Super Street Fighter IIThis remake of Street Fighter II featured a new scoring system that kept track of combos, first attacks, and reversals. Additionally, four new characters join the returning twelve characters from the original. Super Street Fighter II is also the first game in the SFII series to give full move sets to the boss characters. Previously in Street Fighter II: Champion Edition and Street Fighter II: Turbo, whilst the four boss characters were available, they did not have different animations for some punches and kicks. Although this was expected for Balrog (being a boxer), it was unusual to see a character doing a punch when pressing a kick button, or vice-versa. Aside from the bosses' added moves, some of the main characters' moves were adjusted in some ways. For example, the differences between Ken and Ryu became more defined - Ryu focusing on deadlier fireballs, and Ken's fierce Dragon Punch being able to set opponents on fire.

Why should I vote?
Each vote shows community interest and signals to IP owners that releasing their game on GOG is a valuable opportunity.
How can I learn about the status of the game on the Dreamlist?
Currently, we can’t disclose the business status of a game before its release due to the complexity of the process and the potential negative impact this could have on our efforts. However, we’re working on a feature that will let you track the games you’ve voted for once they’re released.
Does high number of votes for a game mean that it will be released sooner?
A high number of votes shows strong interest, which influences both GOG and IP owners. However, we can’t guarantee that every highly-voted game will be released.
