This was the first game I have ever played that made me feel like I was watching a Hollywood movie. I felt hooked up to this bc of the story, characters and plot twist you get there. Narration was made a way that makes me feel like I am really saving the world.

I remember when I first played this game, it was like playing a inside a movie, the new weapons I didn't know existed, the plot, soundtrack etc... it's one of the best games of all time. And If you have never played an FPS before, this is an amazing start.

It's the game that introduced me to Call of Duty, I remember playing it while visiting a work friend of my dad's and they had it on the PC, their kid at the time had played it up to the Pripyat mission, the very first one with the ghillie suit, I honestly found it cool and remembered the name before having my parents eventually get a physical copy of it, in all honestly I think I lost the case and the cd key which is a real damn shame. I mostly enjoyed it for it's singleplayer campaign and not so much for the multiplayer part, but nonetheless I did play the MP and largely favored Crossfire as my go to map.
One of my favorite Call of duty, the story is incredible, the gameplay better than all the current cod, very realistic in its plot, a very challenging extra game mode.

The single player experience for this game is like taking part of Michael Bay movies. Gameplay and story telling from this game is so iconic to whole gaming industry that this gem need to bee part of GOG collection.
i remember playing this way back in a lan-house in my city (Brazil, computers were expensive) and i had a blast with it, so cool dude, for me at the time this was totally like "the best graphics!"

The original 2007 release is what made CoD into a household name and possibly the most oversaturated game series on the planet. 'Nuff said. Both the campaign and the multiplayer are pretty famous to this day, and while the latter might require a significantly greater effort to bring back the campaign is what sticks with me personally. Back before all the overpriced piecemeal DLC and neon cosmetics and loot boxes and season passes and jingoistic turn-brain-off-and-shoot-heads slop, we got an actual story that combines the action movie hero schlock with a shocking caution of the arrogance and hubris of war, and the hell that ends up wreaking on everyone from the perspective of people on the frontlines. It sticks with me to this day.

Both my brother and father played this game (and the other 2 in the original trilogy) and it would be awesome to allow me to access this amazing campaign without the death grip of Activision

if this game can be bought and run on the apple mac app store. there is no reason in my mind why this game shouldn't be released on gog. realistically the app store version would be broken and it would be great to see it on a platform that will maintain it better.

A very important FPS game, it defined the 7th generation and you can still feel its DNA in many modern FPS games. Campaign was pretty cool and still holds up, but the multiplayer was a important part for me back in the day, i used to play this a lot and made some friends on Xfire, if you remember that LOL.
Those games also need your vote!

The Terminator: SkyNet
The Terminator: SkyNetSkyNET is Bethesda's last game based on the Terminator franchise. Originally developed as an expansion pack to Terminator: Future Shock, SkyNET eventually became its own standalone product. Its major features are an updated version of the Xngine allowing for play in the sharper 640x480 resolution (and the ability to update Future Shock to the same), a new single-player campaign, and a new multiplayer deathmatch component. In the single-player game, you must stop the machines from launching a recovered nuclear weapon. The story takes place over seven missions broken into various sections and "levels," with night progressing into daylight as the game goes on. The locations are also more varied and interactive than those featured in the first game, with levels like the basement of the Cyberdyne building, and a sinking nuclear submarine. Driving and flying levels return from Future Shock, as do the mission briefings, which are now handled entirely in FMV. The game seems to act as a prequel to Future Shock, with the most advanced technology and player weapons from that game not appearing in the course of the single-player missions in SkyNET. The multiplayer game allows for eight players over a LAN and two over IPX. The levels are contained recreations of sections or ideas in the single-player game, like a block of cityscape, a shattered freeway, or an open valley, and many can be played at either dawn or dusk. Vehicles are available in most levels, and unlike in single-player, can be entered and exited freely. You also have the option to play as a Terminator, with reduced movement speed, a little more toughness, and the classic red-tinted vision with information overlays.
