Agree.

They are slowly but surely pissing through all the good will that they have built up. It just looks bad.

(btw, where is the promised modding tool set?)

If it was a matter of moving to new Forme software, probably about 12 Hrs down, max ( depending on how much had to be moved over from the old Software ). Being a forum Moderator, I have been through Change overs in the past, and as someone else said, something just isn't right about this.
Guys,

We've ran into some serious problems on the way. I once again apologize for the delay, I know how long it's been offline and I'm not happy about either but all we can do in this situation is work on brining it back online ASAP. Hopefully I will have some dates for you in the nearest future.

I will have to ask. WHAT exactly are these serious problems? Yes i know i will probably not get to know what they are. But still it raise alot of questions. More serious problems? What are you guys doing? Or well more correctly the guys you hired. Every day there is a new problem... Every day it get delayed more.

Throw in the lack of information, lack of support, lack of acknowledgement of alot of problems everything from ui, bugs, some animations, getting stuck, quests not working its abit... disheartening?

Why could you not bring the old forums up and just have TW2 general with a sub section of TW2 support until you are 100% sure that the new forums will work? Atleast this is what you should have done in the first place hell it should have been done the moment you put the old website down.

Im a forum lurker so i know about gog and that CDP RED and GoG are sister companies now however do everyone that went out and bought TW2 know that? No for example my friend did not know so he went to the TW2 website and found nothing as there was no working forum... No he did not know about gog.

Overall if i would have to rate your overall support / information / QA / ways to solve problems and answer them for release. I would rate them on the level of a school project at college level. Disorganised, uninformative and at best abit below average. so 30/100

Its not good for your reputation to continue with this. Fix it... Bring the old forums up and make people have to use a direct link there and then we can all eat cake together.
Every day it's the same old platitudes from CDP Red with a differend excuse. LIke the politicians who govern our country I know longer believe a word your saying. At this rate Duke Nukem Forever 2 will be out before these forums are up and running.

Thanks for the update. But I have to ask at this point, what the hell could have happened so bad that the forums are down for two months? Sorry, it doesn't make any sense.

Will you atleast bring the old forums back temporary?
Problems with outsourcing:(
Sounds like my job..................

I do agree that bringing back the old forums with TW2 sub-section might be an easy solution to tie things over on a temporary basis.
The thing is that missing official forums are not the "end of the world". As all of you can see, this forum is doing his purpose like it should. If someone have a problem, post it and address it to developers or gog team and that should respond. The main thing is how to keep us as customers - by my opinion, it is continuity of the game with DLC or some new episodes, until next game. Forums mostly are to exchange game experience (good and bad) and self helping by receiving respond from other players regarding various parts of the game and also helping others with your knowledge about certain elements of play-trough.

It seems you didn't have any technical problems, but many other people did, so it is important to have a technichal help forum. GoG is not really responsible for that. Nor is the forum well equipped for the many players exchanging their experience, because there are no sbforums. The most important thing right now is support, not a new pair of trousers for Geralt every other week.

So I'd say a forum is pretty important. And I'd let heads roll or sue the pants off of them, if the third party company was really responsible for injuring their image, as that's exactly what's happening right now.
