Nesoo: Yup! See the attached pic.
Oh my. I can barely get myself to rename all the chests!
What I'm wondering... what do you do with boxes full of dirt, of all things?

avatar
Nesoo: Honestly, half the time I spend playing the game is probably spent just on sorting everything out, hehe.
I figured that's normal.
Still liking your tree by the way, even if it's not made with living wood.

Nesoo: I love the crane!

InkPanther: Thanks. :]
That is a nice crane, what with the use of different materials and slanted blocks!
Dig my basement! :D

BTW does anyone else collect their grave markers and put them on display?

Hah, nice work :D

I always put my grave markers in storage chests - I could create a "graveyard" some time, but right now I'm working on a hotel!

Speaking of which.... see the first image for what the area was before, and then the second image for what it is now: The No Hotel! :D (in progress)

Rather than spend ages hunting around for enemies and jumping through the percentage chance hoops for a drop I made this to harvest goodie bags - also worked a treat for the Eskimo clothing!

Flip the switch, sit back and let the dart traps do all the work.

It's like a tornado-proof Hoovertown. P
Anyone want to see my initials buried underground, in a stone vault? Here you go :D

(Also look at my character - FEAR THE ALMIGHTY UNICORN MAN!!!!!!)

I hear there's a limit to how many items can lie around before the game starts deleting the oldest ones one after the other, though I can't seem to find out the exact number.
Nice construction! I'm too lazy for such things myself.

Unicorns are actually dicks. (Spoiler.)
Felix has been a space alien ever since I've found that costume.

Seeing buildings change is interesting. And you'll have screenshots to look back to once your hotel has grown into a gigantic underground hideout!

Hm here's a floating Dryad island during Blood Moon. Don't mind the hideous cloud.

heh, I've already come a long way.

Before
After

....and I've already made several changes/upgrades to my hotel since the latest screenshot, so I'll have a couple more to share later!

Is it because you keep finding things and think, "Ooh, I gotta use that for something!" ...because I keep doing that.
"I can make furniture out of HONEY? Hell yes!"

Long story short, yes. ;)

I'd be in for the long version if you feel like telling it. If not, fine too.

Well for one thing, I discovered that I'm able to make windows with glass "walls". I also discovered how I can use stone slabs to make nice, big bricks, so I had to use that material to make a basement. (moved all my crafting stuff there) Then I learned from a YouTube video tutorial (this one, I believe) that I can have an infinite water source, so I took advantage of that and made an indoor swimming pool.

I've also used clay pots and vases to decorate the rooms.

This is how I built and expanded a small housing on a multiplayer server over a year ago. Note that it was only my own housing for that server, the npcs lived in a spot that was easier to access for all players.

Windows are awesome! I was overly excited when I found out about glass walls. Not to mention my amazement when I discovered [url=http://oi58.tinypic.com/2cxgmbl.jpg]walls.
I didn't even know about stone slabs... I just used bricks. o.0

Hrm I should do that at some point so I don't have to hunt down water sources. If only I weren't so lazy.

I'm somewhat confused by the one hornet statue among all the armor statues.
