Heh, forgot about this thread. Can't wait for 1.3... it'll even, apparently, have a function to take a single massive picture instead of us having to take lots of small ones and stitch them together.

If it were just a question of what materials to use but no. No matter how much I try to plan ahead regarding the size of buildings, they're just never enough. Granted, I've never built anything massive. Except for that one glass globe maybe.
I really like the gemspark walls behind the mannequins, I'll have to consider that when I move in 1.3.

Terraria 1.3 is out!

If I read the announcement correctly it has a built-in screenshot feature?

If so, that's good for the purposes of this thread! Hopefully we can get going again, fellow Terrariantes! :D

(had to come out of lurker mode to post this... I'll do it again of course when I have a pic or 2 to share :)

I'll go off the topic of "screenshots" for a bit. (hey it's my thread! :P)

Played 1.3 for a bit, definitely some nice improvements and changes which are more than welcome in my book. So far my favorite new feature is the fact that the NPC's actually do something and fight back when they're being attacked, instead of just stand around like COMPLETE IDIOTS letting themselves get killed.

The new snapshot feature is very nice.

I like the atmosphere on this newly build bridge when it is raining. It calms my mind.
