Now, say if Im going to cheat by giving me 2 or 3 extra feats--which Id say is perfectly valid given how horrible the class is lol--is there anything that could give any synergy at all? Just a little extra oomph.

Not sure about feats, but if the thing gave spellcasting progression like DD or EK I might've considered it.
I just did some tests and realized that deft strike works exactly like rogue's finesse training. Whoever designs this class really hellbent on wanting it to have no synergy whatsoever.

Finesse training also doesn't work with twf. Is that bug or feature? I can't seem to find much on this.

Last I checked rogue finiesse training did work for D/W. I mean... look at nok-nok. Seems working alright.
Oh sorry Im a dumdum. I put on a longsword and thought it was dueling sword.
That being said, even if you were to go finesse training from rogue I'd pick shortsword for allslayer and used bloodhound in main hand.
Im testing the rogue 10/sl 10 build. Doesn't seem to have enough feats for twf but Im not certain. Also seems a bit of a waste of the 1.5 mod.

Dex is a waste to begin with... unless you are doing low level things like varnhold. Don't think there is much to be done there. Although I'm thinking how could I exploit the fact that oversized bastards work with slashing grace.
At this point Im more surprise if swordlord can somehow get worse than it does. Minmaxing is just well out the window. The funny thing is that I tested the rogue build first because I didn't want to waste deft strike. Oh the irony.

How do you feel about this build: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2kuSDrW9Uk4?

It's an aldori counterattack build, relying on you getting hit to get multiple aoos and uses barbarian dr to reduce the damage. If it works maybe I could sneak a few swordlord dips in.

You don't want to be hit to begin with. Being hit is bad. Might work for casual difficulties, but I wouldn't put myself through that suffer on unfair. Below that anything goes, so meme it up if you feel like it.
Well I thought so too but nobody in the comment seem to have any thing to say about it so maybe it really does legit work. But even if barbarian dr does work buffing up a half empty hp bar is annoying on its own.
As a rule of thumb all his builds are pure theory and more often than not poorly optimized theory at that. Not the worst thing for day 1, but he didn't play the game, so take a guess how well they are put together.

DR kinda does work as it's calculated before the unfair multiplication, but if you are being hit you will be chunked to death soon anyways.

Hi InEffect! Absolutely love the builds, and tried out a good number of them + a few on the RPG CODEX that go 40 odd pages counting backwards, and I finally figured out what 's imo best to play overall

It's time to buldrozer through the story and make it perfect on Normal difficulty until PKWR is released, and in case there's save file transfers, and I can't find anywhere the build in mind, please create it for me!

The idea is a variant of:
Heavy Hitter Sword Saint on PRG CODEX page 114 by Haplo

mixed with this:
A High AC/High Damage build that I'm using on Hard that I would like to share. by Many_Mongooses On Reddit

The MC has to be Aasimar, Non Paladin, CAN be Lawful , Tank Focused Frontliner (as much AC as possible), DD added if nothing is sacrificed, MUST have heavy/medium armor proficiencies (Onslaught ftw), and a Twohander weapon focus, probably Greataxes cause they're most versatile. Does not have to be a caster, should be able to get a few good hits in damage-wise, all for normal difficulty. The main damage could rely on AooP, that's fine by me

You're welcome to make any changes, but heavy/medium armor , non-paladin and aasimar + wings are a must

Thanks!
Haplo is competent. The other one I do not know.

As to the build, easiest one would probably be Melee sorc. Bit slower than monk version due to the feat tax, but will have the desired results. For hard Vivi as as good as ever as well. Slap a level of fighter for heavy proficiency and you are good to go.

So something like 19 vivi 1 fighter with str focus? Wouldn't I need more fighter for the armor bonuses? Around how much AC could that reach? From everything I've seen Dex builds with robes seem to outdo armor for ac bonuses, so they're either over utilized or armor is underpowered

Thanks for the reply!
