In your examples they (usually) incite discussion, which is not anywhere nearly as divisive as two separate threads where people with similar mindsets gather to tell themselves how awesome theirs are, and how terrible are the other people over there.

I'm in for all the games bar Giants, as I have it (and it is mostly a great game).

I'm totally in for the giveaway! I was shocked when I saw licurg's giveaway and how so many people entered it. So this topic is a good place to raise awareness against animal cruelty. If we could hear the heart beeps of animals, if we could treat them with loving affecttion, I think everything would be a little different! Kant says, "He who is cruel to animals becomes hard also in his dealings with men. We can judge the heart of a man by his treatment of animals".

You should be pissed off at Starmaker who recently said "This is why eating cute animals is okay, and testing and experimenting on animals is awesome." People like him or her are the enemy and the pieces of shit who low rated my response to those words are also the enemy. Those kind of people are why animals are being tortured and killed everyday. What the fuck did Licurg do? Nothing.

Well, apart from that "Testing is awesome". I would rather say, "testing is necessary and should be done in the least harmful way".

The end does not justify the means and it has been proven that the torturing and killing of animals in laboratories does not provide the monsters who work there, any useful data.

I could see the humor in some of the pics of the other thread (like a steak) but the litteral dead animal i did not like, mainly because a work at a vet and my partner is a vet so i see more then enough dead animals and it's never fun. But i am a advocate of doing what you want so no hard feelings if you do see the humor in that ;)

for cosmetics - maybe. For medical trials - invaluable data which can not be got in any other way (except if you prefer to do it humans.... preferably volunteers,.... and yes, I only use the basement to store chemicals, and no - it is not a soundproof room over there))
