A few more things:

For those who didn't know. The party from RoA 1 can (and should) be transported into RoA 2. Therefore I strongly recommend playing them in order.

Also, I changed the deadline:

The contest will now remain open until either Monday, the 9th of October or until ten people have posted the screenshot.

I hope this is fair enough and let you enjoy those great games. With this change, everybody has enough time (two weekends) to complete challenge and on the other hand, if I can find those ten RoA fanatics, I can make an earlier drawing so they don't have to wait that long.

I don't want you to rush through these games, but enjoy them.

RoA 1 has a brothel? O.o

I played this game at least a dozen times. I found all the pieces of the map. I hacked saves and wrote a tool to use custom character portraits (I was 12 at the time, so, quite an achievement). I knew the best places to buy food in every city (off the top of my head: the one in Thorwal is called Sword and Sorcery, across the market square from the temple of Travia - the inn, not the bar; the bar is merely average). I elevated the fourth-wall breaking quote from the Beilunk Riders waystation to the status of a local meme in my TTRPG group. But I never found a brothel.

Was RoA 3 the one with a crazy fetch quest?

You can finish RoA1 in less than two weeks? When you don't know, where are those 'quest things' located?

I've never really played RoA1+2, but Riva was (and still is) one of my favorite games (FY Baldurs Gates). It's my dream, that I manage to complete all RoAs with the same party :')

Yes, but I don't wanna spoil anything ;-). You have to search a bit. There is a lot of stuff hidden in the first game you only find by exploring.

That was RoA 2.

Which, funny enough, can be finished successfully with only seeing roughly 20% of the games (if you know where to go). Most of that game is optional. But exploring is one of the main feats in that game, therefore you never really notice that.

Well, I played it for the first time roughly 17 years ago. And it took me about a week or two I would guess (besides playing other stuff, school and all that). Oh, and no internet guides.

Nowadays, with doing EVERYTHING I need about 8 hours. Two events are appearing based on luck, so they stretch it out a bit. But at least 30% of that time are due to my OCD with RoA 1. Most in RoA is optional. I think you literally only NEED two dungeons, depending how lucky you are in obtaining the maps. (you don't need all nine). The rest is for fun and games.

I would guess, someone new to the game, but with experience in that genre needs 8 - 12 hours depending on how much he wants to explore. Make it another two hours familiarisation if you are new to such RPGs.

It should be very doable in the timeframe of that contest. The brothel in RoA is easy to reach if you are in a hurry. I included that, so people can see the changes made in RoA 2 and how much better it plays. (Never the less, they should be played in order)

In that case, since you've extended the deadline, I may participate. I was holding back to enter the contest for the fact that I like to enjoy the games calmly, without haste, and complete them in its entirety

And it seemed a sacrilege to pass the first game (and part of the second) at full speed, if they are as good as you say (IMO, getting the opposite effect to you wanted, i.e.: the third title to be played by people who had actually enjoyed -the awful haste thing killing my enjoyment- the first two).

Now come on. It's nearly two weeks (two weekends!) That should be plenty of time. :-)
