Druidshinobi: Ahh ok thanks then. So no matter what Origin comes with it.
As for the EULA, i still don't trust it too much. I know the Steam one is appearently optional so that one doesn't bother me too much. As for blizzard, well i uninstalled WoW ages ago. Is the blizzard one similar to Origin though? Plus, every game i look at on the store comes with 'Securom' or at least most of them which puts me off the platform even further.
The EULA for origin (non enforcable in the EU but meh people still worry about them...) Gives a lot of details about what their anti cheat system etc will do, Steam just covers it by saying VAC's will do something while games are loaded but isn't explicit about what... As for Blizz this is a company that claims a copy of the game in memory is not a legal copy(seriously it's how they won the glider case if you load up the game they own the copy in memory not you) their anti cheat engine literally scans your whole machine and it's memory while playing...As for the EULA, i still don't trust it too much. wodmarach: Giving Tali the data->easy way to convince her and more respect from the Quarian fleet
Wrex Alive-> clan Urdnot is saving the species if he's dead his brother is following the old paths and is losing
Thorian -> damage level leads to information on the colony and how it's doing
Conrad -> bugged but if you edit your save you can get the nice guy version though due to the bug it's more an easter egg
Rachni -> if you listen to the news etc people start to worry
Also according to bio the leaked script was an old version with many changes since and because of the leak they've actually gone back and changed parts (it's thought thats part of the reason for the release date push back)
Nothing from what you mentioned had any impact on ME2's plot and character development. You can still recruit Tali, Grunt still goes through his rite of passage. Bits of news about the Thorian and Rachni has combined importance of well rounded zero. As for *Turian Councilor's opening air quote* changes *Turian Councilor's closing air quote* they are allegedly making to the script, I'll believe it when I see it. Or more exactly, when dedicated people do a thorough side-to-side comparison the next day the game launches.Wrex Alive-> clan Urdnot is saving the species if he's dead his brother is following the old paths and is losing

Hmm this is a lot of detail. I used to play WoW and Starcraft 2 a lot so everytime i was playing them my computer was getting scanned? Very worrying. The whole memory/legal copy thing is worrying too. The Origin EULA. When you say it's non-enforable in the EU does that mean they Don't have to do it, but they can? Or can they only do it under certain requirements (I.E they have reason to believe you cheated a game?).
As for steam. VAC is active in every game right? Or is it just Multiplayer games? Whatever the case, them not explaining what it clearly does is dodgy. Only the hardware survey seems to get the most stick since that's the one that openly scans your system.

And I haven't played TW 2, so I can't really say anyhting about the changes crossing over from TW 1 to TW 2. The story development in TW 1 was impressive in execution though (also not that special in idea).
I was dissapointed with DA 2 in that regard.

As VAC status is tied to your account, if you are VAC banned then you cannot play on any VAC enabled server for any game.

Oh god, Jessica Chobot is in Mass Effect 3, playing some character that looks exactly like her. Now I am slightly alarmed.

Not buying this game. It looks good like all the other Mass Effect games but I don't want Origin on my computer.

Exactly what I was thinking. What an alarming display of bias. I wonder what score they will give ME 3.....? I'm glad I stopped paying attention to IGN a long time ago.

Ugh, nerds hate her, we don't like her, only the Bro gamers like her. Which is exactly where Mass Effect has been going since 2: Bro game.http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_embedded&v=YG9otVyV6GI
