rjspring: If Micropose, bring on X-COM!
And "Magic: The Gathering - Manalink" :)
Maybe I should post more than a link. In october Team17 released some worms games on steam. In the steam forum Zeewolf asked them if gog is an option for them.

The answer: "Yes we are aware of GoG and yes our older games would be a very good fit for there. :)"

If it's Team 17 then that's kinda disappointing... I mean the worms formula hasn't exactly changed and there are new 2D ones that are essentially the same as the old ones, just with better graphics & a better selection of weapons. The only one I'd be interested in seeing DRM free is the puzzle game they did: Worms Blast. Plus Armageddon and 2 have always been a bugger to get working. The old Alien Breed might be nice but I hope GOG don't do their usual one release trickle feed of Worms games.
We always have to ruin the surprise don't we. It's a virtual lock now that it's going to be Team17 given the clues GOG gave and that steam post.

They already are here, in a manner of speaking. As a publisher, Ubisoft owns their content...
Yeah, my money is on Team17 as well.
Surprise new publisher is probably not one of the big publisher.

I'd say it's Paradox (they said they want to join GOG), but it could also be Stardock (which would be more surising)

(reposted from other thread)
Stardock. :p
Wait, why is everyone adding a "-" to XCOM? That doesn't seem correct.

*ducks for cover*

All jokes aside, I would have loved Microsoft for the Age of Empires series, but I agree with SLP2000. Surprise sounds like smaller. The Worms series would be an interesting addition to the site though I probably would not get any of them.
A hint was posted by GOG:

A (big) hint: Tomorrow's new partner will worm up your cold January day with one of the best hot seat strategy games ever made.
So, it's Team 17 with Worms not Paradox/Stardock as I thought.

Good, I'm happy, I hope we'll get Superfrog too.
