The "Director's Cut" subtitle also means, that you'll have the unique opportunity to experience the game just as the developers did: with optional access to developer console you'll feel like the god of the realm.

are you going to allow early dls of D2DC like you did with Witcher 2 when that was released here?

MarioFanaticXV: While it's good to see we'll actually be getting some of them, it's rather sad that they had to do this, as it means their expectations were severely disappointed.

MichiGen: No, not exactly ;) http://www.lar.net/2012/10/12/the-good-the-bad-and-the-unexpected/
That's actually a refreshingly honest statement... I hate how most companies hide their business tactics, but here spelled out exactly both what was intended and what happened... And that is a rather interesting reversal. Wish more companies would offer insight like this (though I can also understand why they don't).

I know that there's a lot of posts and no one can be expected to read all of them, but please, at least read the opening post before making one of your own:

I bought that package at day 1 and I´m just wondering where I can get this LMK-Beta? The only thing related to that I could find is the trailer video, but not the actual beta itself. Or do we get that when the offer has ended?

MarioFanaticXV:
play it a day before everyone else, as in you pre order it you can play it on the 17th, that didnt answer the question i actually asked as to whether you can pre dl the game just needing a small file dl on the day to play it, like witcher 2 did

If they messed up, they could still fix things up by changing the cutoffs for BD and D2. Instead of the average and the 90% percentile, respectively, they could have two-thirds of the average and the 75% percentile, for example. That would drop the prices into a more reasonable range. Just an idea.

I have still hopes of buying D2, but $12.50 (the current price) is too much for me for one game (I already have DD and BD). I'll buy if it drops down to $10.
Hehehe! They refer to GOG as Good Old Games! - Someone won't be happy! ;)
I was wondering does the music come in FLAC or Apple Lossless format?

I'd much rather get this digital set but want the music in the best available quality. (And yes this is one of those things that I look for in Kickstarter game campaigns I support and in the new Chris Roberts game)

Thanks

In all the soundtracks I've managed to get from GOG (which, granted, isn't many), they've always done it as MP3; no WAV or FLAC.
So after a glitch or two, the price is down to something a lot more reasonable, and they're releasing the videos. Cool. Looks like I might buy this after all.

MarioFanaticXV: ...Isn't that what it stands for?
That's what it used to stand for, but not anymore. According to GOG, GOG now stands for GOG, no more no less. That's because they shifted from "only" good old games to other markets as well, such as "new games" (e.g. Legend of Grimrock), "bad games" (e.g. Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods) and "not really games, more like long proof of concept demos" (e.g. Assassin's Creed).

mrkgnao: "bad games" (e.g. Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods)
Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods was already here before they started releasing newer games.

Aver: Bad new games were already here before they started releasing bad new games.
...your point being?

Skunk: ...your point being?
It should be obvious if you did read mrkgnao post. FG wasn't cause of name change from Good Old Games to GOG.
Would anyone like a free copy of Divine Divinity and Beyond Divinity?
