mrkgnao: "bad games" (e.g. Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods)
avatar
Aver: Gothic 3: Forsaken Gods was already here before they started releasing newer games.
Right. GOG started diversifying into bad games (e.g. MOO3) before they did into new games. GOG had been meaning just GOG long before TheEnigmatic had announced it. I for one, being a completionist, applaud them having all these games here, good and bad, old and new. Every game is sacred in our neighbourhood...

On this subject, it's important to note that a game can be bad but still be fun. I love Fable: The Lost Chapters and Star Wars Episode III: Revenge of the Sith (PS2/X-Box version) despite both being very poor games from an objective standpoint.

Okay, so I mostly just like SWe3 for its mutliplayer mode and the banter between characters whilst they fight.
They're getting close to 12000.

I agree completely. And it also goes the other way round. There are quite a few 5-star games on GOG that I found not fun at all.
It seems as though the price has more or less leveled off... Haven't seen it change more than a few cents in the past few hours.
I bought a game that my computer can't even dream to run - now I'm feeling like an overweight girl who buys pants that don't fit (and like her I hope to change this situation soon).

$12.51 for Divinity II isn't that great a deal for me (I already have boxed versions of Divinity 1 and Beyond Divinity). Maybe if the price falls a little more I will get it.

I've seen the first video ...
Well, you can buy it for as little as a cent but if you'd rather it for free for whatever reason then here's my key of Divine Divinity: XJLU-PYD2-YENF-KE39
So for someone who has never played any of the Divinity games but adored the Baldurs Gate and NWN series as well as Elder Scrolls games and the like, what should I know before digging into these? What game would you say the earlier two are most like? And as for Divinity 2, how do the story and the combat hold up? The game looks gorgeous in the video, but I'll take a good story or good game play over graphics any day, so I can't make up my mind on this one.
Any comparisons or pros/cons would be appreciated... I'm having trouble deciding if I want to jump on this deal or not.
Nobody replied to me :(. Can someone fill me in on the status of the LMK demo? When will it be available for download? Thanks.

Not saying i agree so DON'T KILL ME LARIAN FANS, but, Divine Divinity is often confused for a Diablo clone on first sight. Though it would be like Diablo but with a story and actual depth.
