Antimateria: You are from germany.. You have euro aswell (googled that =) so you can buy in dollars in gamersgate?
I'm using the GamersGate.com site and my regional setting is set to "English" and my prices are in Dollars. And so GG (besides GoG) is the cheapest service for me.

Steam only lets me pay in Euros and since they convert 1 Dollar = 1 Euro they just rape my purse.

Only way I know you can buy in USD from GG is through proxy change.

Through UK site it's easy to shop and sometimes prices are even lower than in USD and very often than in EUR.

It's a bug then. You should be able to pay only with euros in Germany.

Weird... I can't even choose to pay in Euros anywhere on the site and it's been this way all the time so i thought it's supposed to be that way. Also i've entered my real address with my country set to Germany (just the language is set to english because the only other option is swedish) and i'm not using a proxy server or something else...

EUR prices only here... and we're not even part of the EU or use the Euro as our currency.

I can see US prices only by using a proxy (didn't logged in, just checked the frontpage). It seems gamersgate believes the IPs from your provider are from outside europes Get you US prices directly on the startpage or after you logged in?.

Weird that Steam does it right and shows me Euros, though.

Btw has any of you bought the Dawn of Discovery/Anno 1404 Gold pack last week from the sale and is suffering from the non-working Keys for the base game, too? They just sent out a new set of key which still don't work... :(

Is it really possible to just go in uk site and order the same freaking game with a lower price.. World is so totally f*cked up. Not to mention about unfairness.. (I guess that counts as a sentence)
Pretty funny (or not at all).. Steam has batman, discount 75% and it still cost's much more than it was in sale at GG some time ago. Well, I got it for free thanks to one generous person. That's not the point.. -75%, sounds almost free and then you look the price. Well, it's a good game. I guess, I got lucky.

Edit again: Is there a place who sells only americans or is it mandatory to sell for everyone if it's on the net?

Well, GG thinks I'm from Ukraine so... :-p. Missed couple offers because of that ("not available in your region").

I used my irish address etc for details and have no problem with paying the yankee dollah price, My a/c has no bogus details, dunno why its not available to others.
