SimonG: The average kickstarter amount per person seems to be ca. 50$. Here and on Wasteland 2. Slighlty less on Double fine. But it still shows, people are willing to pay good money if they think they can get good quality.

How often do you actually still pay 50$ for a PC game nowadays?
Yeah, it's crazy. Before the Double Fine Kickstarter I used to buy most of my games for less than $10. Now I'm paying $50+ for games that don't even exist yet and won't be out for another 12 to 18 months.
If someone adapts the SNES game to this engine...

... and makes the sequel that never existed...
looks like there will definitely be a mac port, and although they haven't specified a cost for a linux port, that looks like it will happen as well.

its interesting that they are suggesting it will only cost $25k for a mac port but the leisure suit larry devs can't specify any amount for a mac port or a linux port. surely it can't be that hard to work out a figure for a mac and linux port? everyone else seems to be able to do it.
Cyberpunk? Turn-based? Mod-kit?!? I didn't want that money in my bank account anyways.
Dammit I wasn't going to donate to this one then I watched the video...

Fuck fuck fuck!
I've never played Shadowrun, don't know anything about it's system.. but it sounds absolutely awesome.

I'm seriously considering chipping in for this one.

EDIT.. in fact I have $25, that's a goodly amount, I popped my kickstarter cherry.

"SORRY"

Hahahahahaha
you guys are awesome , very very happy with the progress
Oh nice, science-fiction fantasy.
The game is 100% funded! And it took just a little over 24 hours.
23 days to go and evreything from here on out is a bonus.. this should turn out a rather good gsme and it won't be 'designed by commitee' either.

They start giving out the bonuses in Jan 13, I wonder if that's a realistic timeframe to be nearing production close?
