AlexY: Waitwaitwait Hexen and Heretic? Oh gosh, I remember those. They were awesome. :0
Holy c- Lost Vikings, I totally forgot about them! :o

Andy_Panthro: I hope the first one (2D top down game) arrives here... I can't get it to work on Vista at all. Mind you, it didn't like XP much either.

That's exactly what I mean, the first Blood Omen. I am actually replaying it on my PSP as we speak, but still. :) (However, Soul Reaver and Defiance too, if applicable.)

The first blood omen is on PSP? as a UMD or download... I gotta get that!

capthavic: Will it be for just the month or will activion games keep being released afterwards?

one of the interviews that coincided with the announcement stated that there were about 20 games in the original deal, although there would only be about 15 releases, as some would be put into packs ala descent 1&2 or the m&m 6 pack. Would post a link but can't find it at the moment.
Hopefully one of the games of this month will be Spycraft. That was an incredible game.

Hey guys, I haven't read the whole thread so pardon me if this has been mentioned before. If the Infocom games are in the pipeline, I recommend using the most updated versions; all of the CD collections are haphazard in what versions they include. Patches are available here: http://www.ifarchive.org/indexes/if-archiveXinfocomXpatches.html
Most excellent news!
My wallet overflows with love for Activision!

Blizzard isn't really fond of Hellfire :\. I wouldn't hold it against them if they just gave us Diablo vanilla...

honorbuddy: I thought The Dig was Lucasarts.
avatar
heady: me too. google says:
"The Dig is a computer game produced by Activision Asia-Pacific"
:|

Whichever of these is true, I know it's sold by Lucasarts and it's even part of the Lucasarts pack over at Steam.

No problem, but Hellfire was by sierra and even at retail you won't find Hellfire bundled with Diablo by today (only back in the day).
So it's hard to see the 2 games, not impossible as it is ActiBlizz now, but hard.

Not on its own, but it is included with the Diablo Battle Chest:
http://us.blizzard.com/store/details.xml?rhtml=y&id=110000038
which is rather ambitiously priced at $40! I got it for half that at Best Buy several years ago.
Oddly, Blizzard's web site doesn't mention that Diablo I is included, but it is.
That doesn't necessarily preclude them releasing it as a standalone via GOG, which would be awesome. And I would love to see Warcraft 1 & 2 as well.
