Played Mission Critical the last two days and started XCOM 2 today.
I'm not really sure what to play now. Here you may be able to see my dilemma, amassed in the six months since I got my first real gaming rig (during the 90s I was an avid Amiga gamer). I'll let you figure out which is my go-to game, which still for some reason takes up over 85% of my play time.

My most recent tries are Homeworld: Deserts of Kharak (pretty darned good RTS) and Symmetry (not sure what to make of it yet, but the price was sure right).

Been playing Morrowind lately (actually OpenMW with a couple code changes and a minor mod).

Got Azura's Star and the Mace of Molag Bal with one character, started another, and got Azura's Star at level 3. (Bound Axe is really useful, and it also helps being able to enchant items to cast the spells you need.)
Forgotton Anne
Just trying out Jade Empire...
I'm playing it in 4:3. Too bad nobody ever made a mod for a non-stretched HUD in 16:9 (like KOTOR has).
Dead Space now (sometimes I feel like playing different games)
I really don't like the 3D map... I thought those things died out with Daggerfall.

Great atmosphere!
"Fantasy general" and "Temple of elemental evil"
I'm playing a lot of Polybius this weekend. It's Jeff Minter set to maximum, throwing tons of stuff at you really fast with the idea of putting your senses in a Zen-like state, reducing you to a creature of pure reflex. Absolutely not to even be glimpsed by anyone with epilepsy.
Gave up on Viscera Cleanup Detail (cleaning is not that fun) and started anew in X4:Foundations; beginning with the new tutorials that came with version 3.0. Flying in the spacesuit inside a wreck was <censored>. The thing needs a couple of floodlights but at least give us a torch or lamp mounted on the helmet grrr.
Nearing the end of Doom 3. Not sure if I'll play Resurrection of Evil or not, Doom 3 is already a very long game for a shooter. Anyway... I ended up playing the BFG Edition. The lighting changes are overall for the worse I think, but everything else about it is better. Especially the 120fps support and more stable framerate in general. If one of the source ports ever get flawless high framerates going then I'll make that my default, but as of now I think BFG wins slightly.

I played and finished the "new" expansion, The Lost Mission, which was surprisingly different. It's very fast-paced, with some large open areas packed with high level demons. It feels much more like the classic Doom games, in a way. I thought it would be a throwaway garbage addition to be honest, but I ended up enjoying it a good bit. Story is bare-bones though, of course.

Doom 3 in general is better than I remember. If you haven't played it in a long time I recommend giving it a shot.
The Blackwell Convergence
Caves of Qud, another run after the last few went tits-up.
Several attempts as a pure esper, always ends at the hands of the hunters.
Wasn't much of a break between attacks, love to see that frequency dialed down.
Not sure if they even stop coming....
Playing as a true kin this time.
Right this moment? Nothing, but the games I have current playthroughs running are...

- The Witcher 3
- The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion (probably my hundredth playthrough at this point)
- The Elder Scrolls Online
- Fallout 2 (working on my first ever full series playthrough; I've only finished the Bethesda era ones until recently)
- Fallout 76
- Divinity: Original Sin
- Pillars of Eternity
- Baldur's Gate
- Star Wars: The Old Republic
- Assassin's Creed: Origins
- Dragon Age: Origins
- The Division 2
- Thronebreaker: The Witcher Tales
- RuneScape (though I've kinda been on a neverending playthrough of that since ~2004)

riddler214: Thread title says it all.

For me, I started playing Tales of the Monkey Island last night and finished episode 1 in about 3.3 hrs. Will start the next episode tonight after office hours and probably squeeze in a dose of NBA 2K11 (enjoying the Jordan mode) goodness.

How bout you?
Arx Fatalis. Really cool 1st person rpg type. Kinda like Morrowind but better graphics.
Although, i have to admit, i've been taking a break and playing Ancestors Humankind Oddsey.... Maaaannn.., that game is a one of a kind.

*wow... just realized this post was created 10 years ago.

I was playing Wolfenstein (2009) but I felt like taking a break...
So now I'm continuing Resident Evil Revelations HD. I'm playing it on easy - I'm not in it for the challenge; I just enjoy the atmosphere, crazy monsters and cheesy plot.
VELCRO! :-P
