And Concelhaut is no more in my world of Eora :) (Pillars of Eternity optional boss).

My ass was AoEd to dust two times, before I finally kicked his :P A reward, two new spells for Aloth and new pet :)
Started playing ShadowCaster (1993) https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ShadowCaster
Despite the janky control scheme, it's growing on me, and find I'm liking it more than a game the same developer produced 2 years later, Hexen 1.
Oriental Empires. Always gave me the impression of being kind of a shonky Total War knockoff, but actually, despite taking a lot of elements from Total War and especially Civilization, it makes a good first impression and has a couple of crucial elements that set it apart (recruitment, population/food management, semi-autoresolve combat system). For better or worse, it eases you in by making you play as one of the easiest factions first, and I'm finding my first game to be a lot less overwhelming than, say, my first GalCiv 3 game or Imperator game. It's drawn me in, and I'm already looking forward to playing as a herder faction once I unlock them, and then as a nomadic one from the Genghis DLC.
The Resident Evil 3 (2020): Raccoon City Demo. Good stuff!

It looks pretty good on my ageing GTX970 (1440P, settings something between medium & high). I'm still going to wait to play this (and RE2) until I get a new graphics card. Probably after Nvidia releases their new cards this year.

I love the RE games, but I still don't care for the Survival in Survival horror (for me it just means instilling the fear of playing parts of the game over (and over) again). Luckily for me there's always an easy mode that makes it more enjoyable.

I have all the Resident Evil games on Steam but I'd buy them all again if they came to GOG. Capcom, you suck! (but at least you remove Denuvo a while after release... unlike Square Drmix)

Edit: I finished the demo - now back to Max Payne 2!

I watched the IGN review of Doom Eternal. I love the atmosphere in these new Doom games but I know they're not my thing. It's just about twitch shooting, and even (ugh) first person platforming.
Too bad... maybe Devil's Hunt is a nice alternative? (and DRM free!)
Hollow Knight.

One of the best games I've ever played. I've never expected such an amazing adventure. I love exploring the world.
The Book of Unwritten Tales
After few days of break, I have again ventured into the world of Eora in Pillars of Eternity. I have finished the Iron Flail Fort and even though there was big slaughter, while getting to the leader of the camp, I was able to call for a truce, and we were able to finish the misunderstanding in a peaceful manner. Now I am back into the Durgan's Battery to prepare the cannons, for something, which might or might not come :P I let myself be surprised :P
Dragon's Dogma

Doom 3
More Pillars of Eternity!

And Kaoto from The Abbey of the Fallen Moon is no more! I got owned twice, before I was able to find a way how to get his party down. This fight would be impossible without Kana. His AoE paralyzing stun was the ability, which helped me to turn the tide of the battle on my side! I just had to be sure, to get into the cone the Cleric and as many monks as possible. And then slowly take them one by one slowly down.

Very, very difficult fight.
Nothing right now but in a few days i will be playing Persona 5R.
XCOM - Enemy Within.
Robin Hood: Legend of Sherwood - A delightful commandos style game with beautiful graphics and music. Reviews claim that it's too easy, but I believe what they really mean to say is that it's too forgiving. Going completely undetected requires a lot of patience and save scumming.

YS Origin - My first Falcom game. Only played for about an hour, but good first impressions.
Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark - A turn-based strategy RPG. A really great game with a neat little story. Really makes me wish it was on 3DS, I think it would make the perfect handheld game. Lots of different classes/class combinations and abilities. It brings to mind Gameboy Advance strategy/RPG games from back in the day. If you like Fire Emblem or Final Fantasy Tactics, I think you'll really enjoy Fell Seal.

Endless Legend - A 4X turn-based strategy game. I played it on Steam while it was temporarily free to play over the weekend. It's very much a "Just one more turn": kinda game and then you realise it's 3am and it's like, "Ah. I should probably sleep..... after I finish these upgrades". Slowly building up and spreading out your empire, collecting various resources and winning in any number of different ways (economy, military, diplomacy etc). Lots of different factions, each with their own unique playstyles that feel quite different from one another. Very colourful and creative art design, and the music and absolutely fantastic! I definitely want to pick it up, though I really wish it was available here on GOG, along with the rest of the Endless series of games.
After playing Doom Eternal I started playing Doom 3. First replay in at least a decade probably. I have played the first few levels in both the original (using dhewm3) and the BFG edition and am torn on which I prefer. The BFG edition ramped up the brightness considerably, which makes the game look better or worse depending on where you are. It also added a pause when you quick-save, which I find annoying. On the other hand the original is locked to 60fps by default, and turning that off results in a very choppy experience. BFG plays flawlessly at 120fps.

Either way, the game is way better than people act like it is, IMO. No it's not a copy of Doom 1 and 2, but neither is 2016. It's a weird mix of System Shock and Doom and love games like that, so it works for me.
