JDelekto: I have all 4, but haven't played them yet. If I were to go with my gut, I would probably choose Gemini Rue. Aside from being priced less than the others, it also seems to have the best rating. (Not only by number of stars, but by number of ratings.)

I'm also a fan of the point and click adventures.

j0ekerr: It's a good argument.

The Fall has a very flashback-esque feel to it. Which I kind of like.
Well, I was a little disappointed by the review compared to the others and yes, that game reminds me of Flashback as well. (Although I found Flashback frustrating at points.)

As for Gemini Rue and The Fall, both are great point & click adventures; Gemini Rue is more "traditional", even though it has those awful action fights that seem out of place at times -- oddly enough, The Fall has action fights in real time as well, but it kind of works better since the game is seen from a side-scrolling perspective.

If you *really* need to chose between Gemini Rue and The Fall, take into consideration that Gemini Rue is a "finished" game, whereas The Fall is supposedly the first episode of an episodic series (even though you get a sense of closure when finishing the game, to be honest). Both of them have great stories, you may prefer one to the other in that regard, depending on your own preferences.
That's some good information. I'll probably end up queuing Gemini Rue first when I get back to my holiday game rotation. I have several point and clicks I haven't played yet and I'm so glad the genre didn't die out after Sierra left the scene. (Although they tended to have several authors with an odd sense of humor.)

Two I'm really looking forward to are "Night of the Rabbit" and "Randal's Monday". The first has a very nostalgic "magical children's storybook fantasy" feel to it (what I gleaned from the trailer), and the voice of Randal (one of my favorite characters from 'Clerks') for the latter seemed like an instant buy for me... although I read that the character has no resemblance to the one from the movies.

14 minutes and counting! Let us know which one you chose (and why) :)
With less than 10 minutes to go I choose Gemini Rue.

I like to live dangerously.

Thaks for your opinions. :-)

The squirrel was great, some very talented SVG animators. While I really like the squirrel, how about a couple new additional 'animals' for the upcoming winter holidays?
