Ah yes. Fall. A time of gold and scarlet, overcoats, and increasingly cozy afternoons. A fine time to start stocking up for the winter. A fine time for a gaming sale indeed… So welcome to the Big Fall Sale - 11 days of new daily deals every 12 hours, a new set of bundles every 24 hours and free games to unlock.

Hawk52: What I mean is, there were deals I was thinking about but since then they either haven't been on sale or I just didn't see them. I'm not a big fan of the whole timing thing on deals, I don't like being rushed.

First day I was actually looking through the catalog at deals and noticing all kinds of games I didn't even know where on GOG or had never heard of. If they had stayed on sale throughout I might have picked them up but I'm not gonna piecemeal them as the deals come around.

It just doesn't make any sense. Why would you do the huge catalog sale at the beginning of the sale but not at the end? I find it kind of baffling to be honest.
This is purely to increase hype and traffic man :) !
I dont like it either, it would be so much better to put everything on sale for 3 days than puting some new every 12 hours, i agree.

Now i'm stuck because of this bug, with a basket i can't purchase

I don't know about others, but I'm super pissed GOG had some huge sale nowhere near Black Friday or the end of November, which is when I'll actually have money. I'm sure that there are many others in the same boat.

It feels a bit like GOG didn't put any thought into this. They're probably concerned with Steam doing some sale at the same time, but realistically many of us buy from both distributors due to the difference in selections.

Guess this is gonna be yet another missed opportunity to buy something on GOG. Feels like that's been the case a lot lately. You wait for a sale, and then it comes when you're not ready.

For what it's worth, last year's Winter Sale was at the very beginning of December. They'll probably still have a huge sale around the time that you're hoping for.

Rivdoric: Half of the daily deals are suddently gone but were marked as "12h left" 30 min ago....
At the time you were looking there were 96 games in the daily deals, but the bottom 32 of them were already on offer for 24 hours, only the other 64 still had 12 hours left.

I'm pretty sure you'll get another chance in about 5 hours when GOG will put all the daily deals back on for the final 24 hours of the sale.

For the entire time since I joined GOG, this sale has probably been the kindest one to both my wallet and my backlog.

Even though I only spend around the standard amount for an indie game, this has been my biggest sale on GOG yet. Overall I'm very satisfied with what I got (8 games (including bonuses)).
