Awesome daily deals and bundles up to -90%. Free games to unlock. Fuzzy squirrel on the front page.

Ah yes. Fall. A time of gold and scarlet, overcoats, and increasingly cozy afternoons. A fine time to start stocking up for the winter. A fine time for a gaming sale indeed… So welcome to the Big Fall Sale - 11 days of new daily deals every 12 hours, a new set of bundles every 24 hours and free games to unlock.

The Big Fall Sale goes to eleven. It's one better, isn't it?
Today, the last day of the Big Fall Finale, is also a day of all the remaining daily deals - there's just so many of them. It's the time to grab everything you might be kinda into, and just maybe it'll also score you a free game or two, or three.

As we wind down the deals and pack our bundles, there's just one more thing to say: thanks for joining us in the Big Fall Sale!

While you're here, grab a few extra games for free by doing your thing and shopping around. The more you spend, the more you'll get back, so when your total spendings exceed $5, $15, and $30, you'll unlock a new game for FREE. They're pretty good ones too:
--System Shock 2 - free for everyone who spends at least $5.
--The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena - free for everyone who spends at least $15.
--Banished - free for everyone who spends at least $30.

Pet the squirrel, grab your nuts, stock up for winter, and stay cozy out there - the Big Fall Sale is here with 11 days of discounted gaming joy, new deals every day, free games to collect, and plenty of reasons to keep coming back! The sale will last until November 15, 1:59 PM GMT.

budejovice: Let's see if I can find a reason to stick around work for an hour to see the flip.

*shuffles papers*

Oh look, there's 20 hours of work. :)

CarrionCrow: What are you gunning for at this point?
Not much left to shoot for. :)

However, I will bet ( a copy of Pillars Royal) that Incredible Machine Mega Pack isn't soon revealed...

As far as a theme goes, I still have a fair amount of the Gold Box releases on my wishlist. It may be too soon to see a bundle later in the sale, though.

Not going to take that bet. That'd be like betting on Arx Fatalis making an appearance. Not likely.

I know the feeling. Just doublechecked the math. After eliminating items too new, unreleased items and those you'd pretty much have to sacrifice a goat to get a deal on, it's looking like a 2.4 percent chance for any one item.

Thinking Gold Box is too soon. Better chance of retrieving items like the Gamer series. Would call Star Trek a low-end maybe given how heavy Interplay's already been willing to go on discounts.

Note: if gog's payment provider had been blocking your card (several reports) try it again. Mine just worked.

P.S. That bet is open to anyone if that wasn't clear.

I love it when people bring statistics to the table.

I have left a Star Trek game unpurchased just for the eventual bundle sale. :)
I've already hit the 30$. Any chance of stretch goals for spending the next 30$?

jadeblackhawk: Were there any new daily deals at all? Or just the bundles are new?

ALH: Only bundles are new.Expect all the daily deals you saw yesterday to be handed out piecemeal throughout this sale now.Don't expect new daily deals. At least that is how it appears.
Well that's incredibly disappointing.

Konrad said otherwise:

Konrad: fewer discounts that include a bunch of new deals, and some returning from today. That includes Daily Deals (new every 12 hours, live for 24 hours) and Daily Bundles (new every 24 hours, live for 48 hours).

Fairfox: Is the Grim Fandago 'remaster' worth it? I love(d) the original, but if I bought this it'd be half of the money I've allotted myself for a game I already have in the closet. At least it'd work natively on modern systems.
avatar
omega64: I think it is, Haven't played the original but when I switch to the original rendering option it kinda looks shit. :P
You also avoid having to deal with the tank controls.
Did you encounter many gamebreaking bugs? I'm still on the fence about this one because of the reports of bugs.

That's happened to me four times recently. It sucks.

I like numbers.

It's ultimately gambling at this point, and the odds are not in my favor. But, I did write down the info on possible items, so I have a backup plan if every other item and bundle is a bust.

For me, it was Warhammer 40K, Call of Cthulhu and Star Trek. Didn't know what I'd clear first, and hadn't decided yet. Sales for the first two left Star Trek as the last to retrieve.

Well that was incredibly short-lived. Got 2 gifts purchased, cut off again.

Dear GOG's payment provider: Boeing Employees Credit Union is a thing, as is Mastercard. :)

I suppose that future purchases could be gift codes for your main account bought using an alternate account. So you'd get a duplicate set of bonus games. Not really what you were asking, I know.

I agree that additional rewards would be nifty, though I'd never reach them myself. Perhaps the rewards leave gog a bit vulnerable. I wonder if downloading reward games somehow nullifies your ability to return your purchased games.

I ramble.
Is there a GOG thread that tracks the sales of this promo? There is usually one for each major sale, but I can't seem to find one for the current fall sale.

I don't believe anyone is tracking this time.
Anyone know if FlatOut is like Top Gear?
It sorta looked like new stuff appeared, but when I did a search on discounted games, I didn't find anything new.

Once again, no kind of sale surpasses Insomnia.

I don't believe it has The Stig.

It would be cool if it did but I was thinking more along the lines of Overdrive.
