jnmcclimans: are these games compatiable with a Steam accout?
avatar
kennydrawsbriskly: I don't think so. Steam only licenses its games while GOG offers DRM-free versions. You could add a game you bought outside of steam to your account, but I'm not sure if you can get achievements and badges if you do.
thanks for the reply...

averyvh: So the sale runs until stock runs out... Of digital games... But does anyone know how long it is expected to last? Another day or two or the whole week?

Of course if Kerbal pops up again, we will be here until May.
Last one went 7 days I think, but not sure given this time as we have Easter coming up.
They do mention 100 hours of game play in the promo text, so I'd say that means a minimum of 4 days.

I said years ago they need timers .....

xep624: Yep Kerbal is keening .... Well I have lost count how many times I have seen this game on sale, but it's been like 5 or something... But anyway I appreciate that they display the genre of the next game - that's some exciting stuff. However I miss so much the hype and shocks of the older Insomnia sales - like when 2000 !! copies of NeverWinter Nights 2 went in 3 minutes or so.... And the amount of comments exceeding 20k...
They say the next game genre is Role-Playing so I'm desperately waiting. I was just upstairs in the washroom and remembered. "Oh no, hopefully I didn't miss it" and I ran downstairs. My script says we've got 10 hours before the next game!
Gotta love Kerbal.... Jesus...

xep624: Well, I played Walking Dead First Season, but haven't finished it. I don't like to be rushed while I play a game (yes, I prefer to play Turn Based Games much more than action) and honestly you sum up the gameplay pretty much - cutscenes, QTEs and quick choices. You play this game for the story - that's why Walking Dead, Game of Thrones, etc. are so popular. Oh, and yes there is shaky cam from time to time.
Thanks for the reply! :)
In what Fantasy world is Convoy an rpg ?

Edit: Nevermind, it's actually quite close to FTL: Faster Than Light.

This is the first time I sat through a Gog insomniac event. It feels like I'm playing an incremental game, especially when slow selling games are featured. :D

Finally got Crypt of the Necrodancer. Now I can sleep. Happy hunting, everyone. :D

I hope at the end of this "Role-Playing" train is a certain Enhanced bundle...
Hey folks! I'm new to GOG in general, so this is all pretty cool to me. Still waiting on something I want though.

Yes! I second that.
next one they need a "classic" insomnia sale
Classics arent really well represented in this sale. Has the Broken Sword 1-5 pack come up recently?
