No objective ever leads you to it, all the collectibles on it are unmarked; but the biggest small island in Just Cause 2, North-West of of Panau City, is a giant Lost homage with a super-villain's weather machine that shoots down any plane or boat that approaches.
The Minecraft Sword hidden in The Talos Principle.
Mine would have to be Snatcher's Easter Egg during the Outer Heaven Bar scene.

- Sparkster
- Goemon
- Mr. Ueda
- Contra
- Castlevania pair

Good memories right there. Especially the commentary between Metal Gear and Gillian on each of the characters.
My favourite game ever is Dont Starve/Dont Starve Together. There is a graveyard with maxwells statue and it shows all the names of the devs. also a lot of the charecter quotes are mpop culture refferences which i think is pretty cool.
If you push
l+r+c-left, l+c-up l+r+left, l+right, r+down, l+r+c-left, l+c-up, l+r+right, l+r+c-down, l+down
in golden eye you can play as one of game developers

I liked the hidden messages from “Level Lord” in Duke 3D.

Kid me thought finding “YOU’RE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE” in a tunnel wall after No Clipping around a level was awesome.
Clicking on the helicopter in Sim City 2000, causing it to crash. As a child I thought I had broken something and that it would affect my father's computer and I would be banned from video games. I quickly uninstalled SimCity 2000 and didn't pick the game up again for about 10 years.
I think that learning the choreography of Gangam Style with a NPC from Tower of Fantasy was the highlight of the Easter eggs for me.
My favourite Easter Egg has to be Death for Waiting of The end in MGS 3 Snake Eater. I remember when I discover this for accident playing the game on my cousin's PS2, I was playing the game and I quit when the battle started, then my cousin went to work and I forget to borrow his console; after a month at his return, I resumed my playthrough just to find out that The End "kick the bucket in the middle of a battle", I was really confused at the beginning, then I laughed so loud. One of the best Easter in videogame history and my favourite one X'D
The Notched pickaxe in Skyrim.
The easter egg that appears not only once in a Halo 2 cutscene but a second time on the final level of Halo 3: A hidden picture of Bungie co-founder Jason Jones shirtless wearing gym shorts
The curse of Vivienne in the Witcher 3, she was told to only live for 7 years at most. If you skip 7 years in-game time, you will find her dead on the ground in her home. A really great Easter Egg
In the original diablo if you click on the cows too often your character will comment and say yes that is a cow.
My favorite secret / Easter egg is actually from Skies of Arcaidia from the Dreamcast, and later the Gamecube. The mascot for the game is essentially a pudgy little bird called a Hamachou. There is an island you can sail to in the second half of the game that's inhabited by these birds and a strange old man in a bird costume. When you talk to the old man, he grumbles at you for bothering him on his island and then he gives you your stats for the game; how many battles you've fought, how many you've run from, your wins and losses, etc. Nice enough.

The real kicker is, at the back of the island, perched on a log, is one blue Hamachou with a determined expression on its face and wearing an eye patch. It's the only one wearing any kind of accessory. He's basically dressed up and themed after the main hero of the game Vyse. Now, when you talk to the other birds they just chirp happily, but this one acts out a little impression of one of your signature attacks, 'cutlass fury', though it says, 'chirplass chirpy!!!'. He does a little flip and everything.

It's cute!
Ultrakill's Rune Knight and Owl bossfight, even though I hated fighting it I had fun doing that fight
