TLTR: Thanks!

tinyE: And when they get rid of rep I'll consider it further. :P

vsr: What rep? :P
Use "GOG No Rep"! \o/

edit: forgot scripts name. XD
And a link for it: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/1689-gog-no-rep.
OK, I admit I was wrong, you did express your gratitude earlier ;)

tinyE: When I get my GOG T-shirt in the mail I'll consider thanking them. ;P
The problem is that you're so tiny, they don't know how to make a T-shirt your size.
I show my gratitude with my wallet. If that is not enough, then F you all! (runs home crying)

It should be all you need.
Thank you for this topic, I needed a laugh.

Now,now no need for sarcasm:)
Generally i don't think it's a good idea to show loyalty to a company who is out for their own gain and to make as much money as possible. But GoG seems to understand that added value for the customers also means added value for GoG and hence more money.

I just purchased Witcher 3 GOTY 40% off and that also gave me 3 other games for free plus the freebie everyone gets and so when I saw that my purchase would give me 5 games as opposed to one, I closed the deal.

So yes for this once, thank you, GoG!
Does GOG value me and how does it show? I wouldn't know. I'm proably just one id among all the others...

Running sales is a part of doing business. Luring people to the site and convincing them to make purchases. Capturing the market segment that would not pay the full price. It's all about money, it's not altruism and it's not about valuing your customers. Valuing their wallets perhaps.

Agreed, if they wanted to show that they value us they'd gift us a game off of our wishlist instead of a game we have no interest in.
They're an online store whose existence is to attempt to part you from your money.

While I have no qualms with this, it's not something they should be praised for.

Suckholes and fanboys... sheesh...

It just shows that they aren't as greedy as some other businessmen. They are going for the long haul with those deals. Reel you in with some good deals and later you'll start searching games from this store first and then from Steam/Origin/whateverotherbullshitstorethereis.
Some smarter businessmen still think that 100 customers who pay 1€ are better than 1 customer who pays 100€ and I like that thinking. :D
Bigs you can be such a dickhead sometimes.
