I really think so!

Yattaaaaaa! The Japanese Sale is back, bringing copious amount of eccentric NPCs, oversized weapons, emotional roller coasters and gravity-defying hairdos.

Look, there's something here for everyone: fast-paced action/RPGs like the acclaimed Ys series and the recent Tokyo Xanadu eX+, classic jRPGs like Cosmic Star Heroine and The Legend of Heroes series, satirical turn-based RPGs like the lovely Hyperdimension: Neptunia, and eerily sentimental tales like Higurashi When They Cry.

And let's not forget our lovely newcomers: Ys: Memories of Celceta, Shining Song Starnova, and A Kiss for the Petals - Remembering How We Met.

The Japanese Sale ends August 1, 10 PM UTC.

also, not a big fan of how she looks. something about the face area not being cute enough and how she's a 1-1 of nozomi good try gog but you should've gotton a better artist tbh


also, does this mean you can get the senran kagura series and sorcery saga on here now?

Aurora3500: Sweet. I own half of the games on sale right now. But this might be a good time to pickup Trails of Cold Steel II. even though I'm still replaying the Trails in the Sky Series and haven't started Trails of Cold Steel I Yet.

I've been wondering what Tokyo Xanadu is like. I've been wondering if others would recommend that game?

Also love the Mascot of the anime style character GOG has!
get cold steel 2, it's really fucking good. go to the falcom discord and mod with jap voices tho.

Crisco1492: I'd go with the "Legend of Heroes" series, if you haven't already. I just bought "Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky the 3rd" to complete my collection. With it being on sale, I couldn't really justify putting it off, especially since I devoured the first two.

darktjm: How does this complete your collection? Not interested in Trails of Cold Steel? It's basically the same game, depending on where your breaking point is.
Oh, I'll get the Cold Steel series eventually. I was just referring to the Trails in the Sky series. First and second chapters are done, and quite thoroughly enjoyed.

Please keep GoG-chan, or at the very least don't throw her away after a week. That'd be lame as hell, especially with how cute she is and how much fanart is starting to get made.
Also the more japanese games on GoG the better, please endeavor to add more. Falcom's catalog is venerable but I wouldn't mind seeing plenty of others such as Sega's old catalog (not that I expect much out of them with their DRM craze lately), Squeenix's older JRPGs, Compile-Heart/Idea Factory's games (loads are missing yo), and especially those criminally underrated indie/doujin games that get tossed to the wayside, especially those of pure gameplay genres like shmups for example.
Oh, and please try not to get yourselves into more hot water. We've had enough controversy as it is.
(Still waiting on that apology by the way, just saying...)
