I was interested until I saw the DRM.
A free game with DRM is like a free ticket to Auschwitz.

Maybe not Auschwitz. That analogy I would reserve for politics. :P

Perhaps a giant shopping centre where people shout adverts at you all day, and lurk around corners to ninja spray you with different kinds of cheap perfume. :D

gibbeynator: I'm sorry, but if you don't get this, you're missing out on one of the best Metroidvanias since Super Metroid. But but but DRM! Who cares, it's free, you have NOTHING to lose.
No, it's not free. You pay with your personal data that the client sends home to the mothership. So it's basically the same as with Origins 'on the house' program. You couldn't pay me enough to install Origin, no matter what games they give away.
Ugh.. Epic-client, don't rightly know now.
There's already so much of those.

Still.. The game looks good.

Klumpen0815: Principles
^this plys, My personal data, my operating system, the security on my system, the ability to use software without being connected all the time, the will to live knowing that once again people fail to remember that "nothing" in life is free, they will make money off it somehow.
Thanks! One of the best metroid-like games.

DRM :(
I really want to play this but fuck making another account. :l
Free game: check
System requirements: says it will run on integrated graphics: Check
Finally get connected to their servers to install: Check

Run at at least 30 FPS? Not check.

If you're like me and have a crappy lil integrated graphics card... I'm going to say don't bother. Granted mine is the bare minimum it says it will run on, but if they consider what appeared to be between 15 - 20 FPS playable they've gone stupid.

Just my 2 cents.

Edit: Yes, I turned everything graphical down to the bare minimum I could in the options.

Epic has a client? Why...?
One-way ticket to DRM hell... Yeah, I really needed one more of those.

Epic use a client now?

This is how the new Unreal Tournament is being delivered isn't it? So much for it being free, I guess that's another beloved franchise dead to me.

SCPM: Unfortunately yes, it requires Epic's client to play.
Too bad. This spoils it for me. Thank you anyway.
Thanks, but no, thanks. I gave up getting better games because of DRM. There's a good reason if use GOG! The argument that the game is free and then I should accept DRM doesn't hold: it's not a matter of money.
