Too many duplicates from steam, but very fair compared to other gambling sites or products (f.y. hrk)
Happier with Uplay games, even though I already had them, but now I don't need uplay client :D
There are so few games I would want things like this are mostly worthless to me. Doesn't stop me from fantasizing winning the one or two (one over $20) that I do want and see are part of the pool. The more practical part of me says though that I would only get one that I don't want at all or already have on Steam.
Bought 2

Onsdag: The Age of Decadence - not familiar with it, but it looks like it's right up my alley, so sure I'll keep it!
It's hard-core RPG, IMO very good one. By hard-core I mean the difficulty, you really have to pick a role in this one and play for it hard, have seen "let's play" videos of one mediocre player, getting stuck after few hours of play as he missed too many side-quests and invested skill points into too many directions, to a point, where I believe there was almost no chance to progress in the game (except restart with new character and play "better" ... much better).

EDIT: btw, I got finally also "The Sexy Brutale", stopped at 55 games from pinatas. Not going to post remaining list, as I basically don't want to see some of the titles one more time, most of them I will hardly ever play (then again, I hardly ever play even things I buy, I have now "Albion" game on going, for 4 or 5 months, playing like 1-2 days per month only).

And about somebody (with "collector" next to name) being not impressed of Blood 1 ... hey, that game is HISTORY. I'm not suggesting to play it (maybe for a short while, to understand how a teen boy felt playing it with all that gore and voice overs), but it certainly affected the game developers back then. Should be proud addition of any serious historical collection.

The Colonel's Bequest - 1988 sierra adventure with EGA graphics
Cossacks 3

Was hoping for Shadow Warrior 2 which everyone else seems to be popping
Today I got:

- Stories Untold
- Caesar I
- Edna & Harvey: The Breakout
- The Signal From Tölva
- Parkan: Iron Strategy
got yesterday ~3 PM:

Normality
Grabbed these two a few minutes ago:
Dreamfall: The Longest Journey
King's Bounty: Warriors of the North

Not too bad.
Hi, this is my first message here but I'd like to kniw to get a refund on pinatas ?

Because I've bought nearly 70+ of them, and while the majority of them are games unknown to me I might give'em a shot, there's also a good third I clearly have zero interest in (political animals, bionic dues, democracy 3 africa...).

So, can you get a refund because you're unhappy with your picks ?

And still ain't got any 'big' pinata like Tyranny, Rime or Shadow Warrior 2 by the way...

It has already confirmed and it is part of GOGs ToS that you have the possibility to withdrawal from contract getting a refund without any questions asked if the game has not been downloaded and th has not been longer than 14 days until purchase. So the answer to your question is: yes. Simply contact GOG support and ask for a refund. I did for two of my Pinatas and there was not any problem. However I suggest that you tell them before if you like to have the money back or if you are also satisfied by getting Wallet funds. The first one takes a few days and if you don't include this information they will surely ask you how to proceed here.

It would be best not to purchase Pinatas expecting a big game, as they are unlikely to be received and are limited in quantity as well. Regarding refunds, the GOG User Agreement has this to say:
d) Withdrawal Right: we give you the right to withdraw from a purchase of GOG content without charge and for any reason within 30 days after you bought that GOG content, IF it has not been downloaded, streamed, activated or used in any way before then. If any of those things happen then your withdrawal right is lost.

6.12 Final sale: a sale is considered final either 30 days after purchase or when you try to download the GOG content or any additional/bonus content. Once either of those happens, you no longer will have any return, exchange or refund options unless you have technical issues covered by paragraph (c) above. Virtual items/currency and GOG Wallet funds are not covered by this section 6 and we cannot therefore offer refund, early exchange, money back guarantee or withdrawal rights regarding them.
That being said, whether a Pinata is "activated" or "used" when you open it or not is something I cannot answer. Because you do not purchase the game directly, but rather the Pinata itself, GOG could argue that opening the Pinata qualifies as using/activating it.

You can try contacting them. You might have more luck if you are asking for store credit.

wanderer_27: Actually, you don't need to be friends to PM each other - you just need to make sure your Chat settings are set to accept Chat from anyone (mine has always been open).

Thank you for the generous offer . . . not sure GOG will do that though, it seems to go against the Pinata FAQ unless I misread it.
They did it for me (with another game). They don't have to do so but in general they will.

Yeah, GOG would make many enemys with this argumentation. Still an interesting point of view. Like I said before there is no problem in refunding any Pinata and the only reason GOG is offering store credit as well is because it's faster to process. There is no need to ask for store credit as compensation - just get a full refund and be done with it.

When I got a refund for duplicate games (already in GOG Library) they basically said there would be no issue as long as I hadn't downloaded them . . .

I believe they were referring to the new Pinatas, but a little confusing since I'd had some of the games for some time.
Fortunately, my backlog is such that I hadn't downloaded them so things went well.
Monday:
Saints Row IV
Day of the Tentacle
Risen 3 (I already own on steam, so I had this refunded)

Wednesday:
Saints Row: the Third
Shadowrun Returns

Friday:
Tempest
Homeworld: Emergence
Orwell

Sunday:
Guild of Dungeoneering
Baldur's Gate: Enhanced Edition
Emperor: Rise of the Middle Kingdom

Overall my whole experience has been meh. None of these games I really wanted but I guess it could of been worse. I'm not a big fan of turn-based/strategy games. I was hoping for more like Darksiders, Diluvion and of coarse Shadow Warrior 2.
