It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

RWarehall: I see one you missed.
Post 754 of this thread
Anomaly 2
Thank you. I know I did that post, though I'm not sure how I missed that title.

If there are any other corrections or additions please let me know. :)
The google list is interesting but very misleading. I'm pretty sure it varies with accounts who have already several games that are in the prize pool. Also, fresh added games influence it, too.
It may be a vague first impression but far from representive data. "odds" is definately the wrong term.

Thank you for your input. Do you have any suggestions to improve it?

I realize it can be misleading and is entirely insufficient at representing current and actual odds. For example, in the early stages of the event there seemed to be a bug in the system that weighted certain games more heavily than others such that some titles had 3 or 4 hits while others had 20 plus. It seems they've since rectified this problem when they made changes as now it seems every title has (fairly) equal chances to be picked (based on my observations and inputting the data). However, since this current list reflects everything that has been reported in this thread to date then it appears that some titles are still weighted heavily when in fact they may not be. Further, I'm only recording data as it is reported in this thread by buyers - anything more than that is beyond the scope of this project, and my efforts. It is what it is. All that being said, it still is useful and informative in drawing certain conclusions - moreso than not having the list - though there obviously will be some shortcomings and errors no matter what. Unless of course GOG itself reported all purchases and games obtained through pinatas.

And so far, I haven't seen anyone yet say they got NEO Scavenger despite it being listed in the news post...
Any confirmations?
It's a very hard work and I appreciate it like many others for sure.
A small suggestion would be to change "odds" in ratio, or "ratio of pulled items" or something.
It may be interesting what the 10 most pulled and the 10 least pulled games are (of course, the recently added games like Baldurs Gate EH influence the result). Keeping in mind that popular games might be pulled less often because many may already have them and so on, nevertheless it could give us a possible general hint which games we might expect more.
(but I still doubt, I'll get Tyranny or Cossacks 3 so soon..at least I was lucky with Pillar of Eternity already)

A task for wanderer_27 (the OP of the thread) would be to clarify how the numbers come together and how to (not) interpret them.

I just got Kona, which is the first game I would be really interested to play for a while now. Earlier today I got Deponia 3, which was disappointing since I already have them on Steam.

yep
I'm sure this has been asked but I can't find it: I can't buy any pinatas. When I click the button the cart icon displays a 1 briefly before going back to zero. What is the problem?

Try cleaning your browser cookies and try again. Unless you own all games from the pinata list, but even so it would have told you that I believe.

Even if I'm using the GOG client?

SLP2000: yep
That's a "yep" you got one in a pinata?

Well this is odd. You could try browser if you haven't then, but if it doesn't work anywhere it could be some IP or account restriction. I haven't read about a similar issue but I admit I haven't followed as much. If someone else has other ideas, you can try them as well. Or just contact support.

It worked buying them through the browser, so I don't know what the deal was. Thanks for the suggestion.
