Edit : The official name of the NX is Nintendo Switch.
http://www.gamespot.com/articles/nintendo-switch-reveal-trailer-and-all-the-new-det/1100-6444626/

Price point seems to be : 299.
Launch date is set for march 2017.
It looks like its able to play Skyrim, NBA 2k,
a "main series" Mario and Mario Kart.

Nintendo seems to have quite a bit of third party support on board for once, but then so did the Wii U at the start.
A Nintendo-published list featuring a "sampling of Nintendo Switch partners" includes major publishers such as: Square Enix,
Sega,
Konami,
Activision,
Bethesda,
Capcom,
Take-Two,
Warner Bros.,
EA,
Codemasters, and more.

The NX seems to be powered by a custom Nvidia Tegra https://blogs.nvidia.com/blog/2016/10/20/nintendo-switch/

A lot of guess work, but some may find it interesting.

More info from Polygon

Updated, October 21:

Following the Nintendo Switch unveil on October 20, a few titbits of concrete information have now dribbled out. Here's a quick round-up of what we now know about the Nintendo Switch's features, functionality, specs, and games.

"The dock is not the main console unit of Nintendo Switch": Nintendo confirmed to IGN that "the main unit of Nintendo Switch is the unit that has the LCD screen." The dock's main functions are TV output and power/charging, Nintendo said, which suggests the dock won't actually have much in the way of additional hardware to enable higher-fidelity play on an HDTV.

The Switch can't play physical 3DS or Wii U games: This Destructoid translation of a Japanese Famitsu story confirms that the Switch will not play physical games from Nintendo's most recent consoles. We're not holding our breath that downloadable 3DS or Wii U titles will be supported, either, due to the internal architecture changes to the Nintendo Switch processor. Older, downloadable Virtual Console titles aren't out of the question, though.

Switch comes with two Joy-Con controllers (left and right) to snap onto that LCD screen, according to that Famitsu translation. Nintendo wouldn't comment on whether the TV dock or Joy-Con "grip" handles come in the standard package, which strongly suggests that there could be lower-priced bundles that don't include these "optional" accessories.

Skyrim and NBA 2K are not actually confirmed for the system: Despite being the only third-party titles to feature heavily in the Switch trailer, Bethesda and 2K Games both told Polygon they couldn't confirm whether either title was actually in development for the Switch. That's especially odd, since developers like Ubisoft and Square Enix have already announced their intentions to make specific games for the system.

Switch will support Unreal Engine 4: This isn't a huge surprise, since Epic Games was listed as a partner in yesterday's trailer, but it's still nice to get direct confirmation via tweet. While we're at it, the system has Unity game engine support as well (much like pretty much every other device with a microprocessor).

Switch will support Nintendo Amiibo figures: Nintendo tells IGN that your figures will be recognized by compatible games on the new console.

I wouldn't hold my breath on it...

Then again I probably wouldn't get the NX. The Wii-U needed at least 5 must-have games for me to get it, and I haven't seen that yet. So I expect about the same with the NX.

i wont get an NX either
the complete vagueness and lack of information in any way shape or form from nintendo on the nx doesnt really fill me with confidence either

in that article there is a comment that if the translation of the a tweet from nintendo japan is right it will be a 3 min preview

I wanted to add (but I'm not sure how accurate it is) Nintendo is one of the hardware manufacturers who bloat or otherwise obscure their specs more than anyone, and hardware tech people are the ones to give us the spec information for most hardware.

its fairly accurate because nintendo likes to drone on about how the software matters and not the hardware
and while that may be true
the hardware matter for third party developers to publish on it and preventing it from becoming yet another mario box
cause im not interested in the latest mazza dreck and updates

You didn't find five must-have games on the Wii-U? What type of games do you like?
I am hoping that NX is a CDI-esque flop, prompting Nintendo to become an 3rd-party developer for the PC and mainstream consoles.

one that doesnt care for nintendo's rehashes ?
those excist amazing as it may seem
"And then?"

Frankly to me this sounds a bit like Nokia announcing a new (Lumia?) phone. Their time has gone, everyone has moved on already. Kids are playing free-to-play games on their iOS and Android devices, not handheld (or console) Nintendodos. Or Nokia N-Gage for that matter.

I personally really like my Wii-U.

Wii-U exclusives that I think are excellent, New SMB WIi-U, Super Luigi WiiU, Bayonetta 2, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate, Lego Undercover, Super Mario 3D World, Splatoon, Xenoblade Chronicles X, Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze, Super Mairo Maker, Pikmin 3.

I hear the rehash a lot. But tell me again how the next 10 CoD's, Assasin's Creeds, the next GTA (next one will be 9th in the series now? Gay Tony, San Andreas Vice City), Halo (now at 5 or 6 installments, Gran Turismo (7-8 titles now?) Yearly Madden, FIFA, NHL, the fourth Mass Effect, Elder Scrolls 6, Fallout 6, Gears of War 4 (the fifth GoW games - can't forget judgment) etc also are not rehashes?
Concrete eh?

I wonder if it using a variation of Microsofts forgotten OS.

Before windows 2000 came out they where working on an OS with a small footprint like Windows CE, the interface of Windows ME and the Stability of Windows NT.

Windows CEMENT unfortunately never came to be.
*waits for Nintendo to unleash another gimmick nobody asked for*

Good games. Rehashes just to rehash and keep the franchise alive annoys me.

So Mario games, Mario party, Mario tennis/sports/dance/whatever annoy me. (Wouldn't annoy me as much if Nintendo didn't attack fans)

As for games that I like, well there's some action arena brawlers (Bayonetta, Bloodrayne). I enjoy good RPGs that are 10-20 hours long (Chrono Trigger and the like, Kotor, BG etc, although New Vegas and TES games are there too), some mech games (Armored core, Mech warrior, etc), Platformers (Metroid-ish, Megaman, Ronin), Programming games (C-Robots, TIS-100), Space-based games (although I'm not good at them) so... (Spaz, StarFox, Rebel Galaxy), Games with interesting mechanics tied to the story (SoulReaver), Rhythm games (DDR, Parappa the Rappa), Dungeon crawl mixed with adventure/looting (Diablo 1&2, Torchlight, Sacred 1&2), 4X strategy games where you don't need a huge amount of overhead to learn or play (MOO 2), Games with a bit of sex or adult content in it (MGQ, and a few more probably), Rogue-likes (ADOM, ToME, RL converted franchises like doom/castlevania), world building to some degree (Dark Cloud 1&2), puzzles (3D puzzle based ones annoy me though), some RTS games (Starcraft, WC2). And probably a lot more.

I dislike: Mario games (I love some but there's too many) Sonic games (A few good ones, but again few and far between) Horror games (I don't have fun by being jumpscared or the like), Visual novels (hitting 'Next' for 10 hours doesn't sound like fun), games badly balanced or make you restart too far back and require perfection (DarkSouls... yeah not touching it), games from certain publishers/developers due to personal preference or DRM based reasons, Bad controls/camera controlled games, and probably a lot more.

they are and i dont like or buy those either

other then tes and even with that one i prefer oblivion
gta is closer to 17
and i never liked gow
well only a 3 minutes reveal? meh it's slowly getting ridiculous - my anticipation for the nx went to 0 due to this 0 information policy of the last months/year - if they wanted to create a hype by creating a mystery at least for myself they totally failed
