dtgreene: Just be aware that the games will be in Japanese. Of special note is that Final Fantasy 3, which is included in the Famicom Mini, has a lot of text (due to being an RPG), and you might have trouble understanding what's going on. (If you've played the English DS version and can read katakana, you could probably make your way through the game, but be aware that there are some differences.)
Oh, don't worry - I won't go for a japanese version...I am fully aware, that the games are in japanese.
And I still have to play "Learn Japanese To Survive! Hiragana Battle"

;o)

It was just a mere heads-up for ashwald (or anyone else reading this thread), that there will be content missing, one way or the other.

ashwald: Nah, I prefer the western version in both looks and games. It's just there's literally no reason not to include a poster for European releases as well, it makes it look as if we're getting a "lesser" package.
Yeah,...it is sad.
I console myself with the fact that the games are the main thing (though I would love to have the poster as well, ofc).

If you're not averse to playing games on a cell phone or tablet, and have an Android device, I recommend checking out Survive! Japanese.
I literally have all the games I want from this on virtual console. At least it saves me some money.
Mini Classic is going for over 200 clams on sites. A piece of plastic with a short ass controller cord that pretends to be a mod chipped emulator. What a joke. Nintendo. Shamefrul dispray. As if western consumers hadn't caught on to the concept of artificial scarcity.

Shit. I can't even spell racism right any more.
They'll be back down to $60 when the next shipment comes in. I just hope I can snag one before the fucking scalpers do AGAIN or this is going to take a while.

They're not 'getting away' with anything. That's how markets work. Fools pay the going price. Informed gentlemen LEt IT RIDe.
Fuck fuck fuck I haven't got the one I've ALREADY PAYED FOR yet and no word from the store when I'll get it!

Just got reminded to check Amazon FR for the availability and current market price........

160 euros in mint condition (and the controller starts at 58€)

=> I'll pass :(
Hopefully the price goes to normal around Christmas time.
