I am not sure I believe Leonard's claim. How is this a good thing for town to have? It is a role that can not be 100 percent proven to be true. If he is investigated and comes back scum then he says well it wasn't me it bounced onto someone else.

When it comes to the subject of lynching lurkers, I’m much more concerned in the overall quality of posts, not the quantity.
I find it strange that your PM does not explain why you are a Nexus. But I also don’t want to be too quick to fault you for something that could be outside of your control. I remember how hesitant ddickinson(?) was to share her flubb-generated name in the milk game. I do find interesting that this role is considered to more likely hurt town if the player is town and more likely help scum if the player is scum. If you are town, revealing may have been the most town thing you could do.
I really, truly have no other flavour, when I said even Vitek commented on it I wasn't joking. He stated in the PM that it was bad. What would you write for a Nexus though? I don't know when something is redirected and neither does the redirecti. How could you describe that in the flavour?

Really?!? Oh. Wow. OK...
Ummm... I can't.
Right after I posted that, I realized just how stupid it sounds.
vote Leonard03
Well... In my defence, his PM doesn't say whether he would kill himself if he missed a shot, and I can't know if Krypsyn posted his exact PM, or just a paraphrase. *whiny tone* I just wanted to make sure.
Alright, so you were the NK. Good to know.

@Sage I know it's a bad role for town, I didn't pick it though ;)

Well, exact quoting would very much be against the rules. However, to clarify, I haven't looked at my PM in over a week, so what I wrote is paraphrased from memory.

For sake of nitpicking, we don't know it absolutely, but imo we've settled in that there's no viable evidence to support alternate explanations at this time. Occam's razor and all.
I confess I'm a bit surprised Leon is claiming "No flavor" at all. I will, however, disclose something. I would have found it viable if he'd said his role and flavor were not related.
This is not a role claim by any stretch, and for this discussion I'm treating vanilla as a role, but I would say my flavor and my role aren't directly related to each other- or at least you have to make a significant leap from one to the other.
Am I saying I have a role? No, I'm saying mine is one of these three basic possibilities:
1) weak flavor + strong role. Example might be "total loser" + town ninja!
2) strong flavor + weak/no role. Example might be famous martial arts expert + vanilla
3) largely unrelated flavor/role. Example might be "street sweeper" + "town ninja."
I originally made a joke there about accountants, but deleted it lest I get all the other accountants in the game against me. Anyway, point is, if you had to justify how they were related, I guess you could find a meandering path. But you wouldn't see my flavor and say "role must be X!"
My flavor does, however, and this is absolutely true, say that I'm popular and well-liked in town, and that I like the town. It also doesn't say how long I've been there, though the implication is a number of years. There's no mention of any other cities/towns outside of this one. Happy?
While some people may be seeing tidbits that imply there's some sort of cohesive narrative (Kryp's role and flavor, e.g), there's tons of evidence to the contrary. You don't have to see my role/flavor to confirm that- and again, vanilla would be a role and this isn't a role claim - just look at what Sage says her power is:
She convinces people to move back to town. For a day. Then they disappear into the ether.
I mean, if you really take that literally and assuming it's meaningful narrative then you end up with crazy theories like agentcarr's that "maybe she is town or scum dragging their souls off to hell after pretending to be nice!" rather than just the obvious fact that the narrative flavor is a nice colorful touch to the game, but of no practical value at all.
Just my opinion.

We (I'm talking collectively, though I'm not including all players) have been trying to post content, whatever we've been coming up wtih. Somewhere down the road, posts like this or this or this might come in useful. Your particular contributions, like this and this are not going to be useful. Plain and Simple.
Yes, I deliberately chose your less-useful posts to make my point, but it wasn't difficult to find posts that were useless.
Yes. Call me a conspiracy theorist, but I love making up stuff like this. I don't believe a word of what I'm saying, but it's fun coming up with crazy theories.

The sad thing is, this game is so weird that now you actually have me wondering if it's going to happen. G'dammit. ;)

Get caught up in RL for awhile and come back and all kinds of interesting happenings going on. What jumps out to me right now is CSPVG and his comment in this post.
You said you did not want to call Leonard's bluff. A bluff would entail that leonard is being deceitful yet you remove your vote.
You explain removing the vote "Yes, I know that I've just said that I'm not willing to move my vote, but he did claim and did so in a way that makes it very hard to question him. "
So you say he is bluffing and because of that you think it's best to not question him and remove your vote? This is confusing. If you believe someone is being deceitful you should absolutely question them and vote them.
I am trying to think of a reason why someone would remove a vote on someone else they think is being deceitful, still can't think of one.
