Granted, but frogs vital to the ecosystem starve, fallowed by all the creatures that rely on those frogs, and so-on until all the jungles slowly degrade into deserts.

I wish all deserts became rich with moisture and life, but only the kind of life that doesn't have thorns, illnesses, or deadly chemistry.

I wish all people in India had the living standards of a typical western country, and for this wish not to be corrupted.

Granted: The Mexican military is now the sole owner of internet and mobile phone technology.

I wish GOG would get a few good idle clicker games that are worth the price.

Granted. And each is bundled with a simple auto-clicker mouse macro, so you can play while AFK. What fun!

Wish power didn't corrupt.

Granted, power is acquired only by those who already are corrupt, so power can't corrupt them anymore.

I wish people would read more serious books about history and philosophy.

Actually, even without an auto-clicker, such games are still meant to be played AFK.

For example, in Cookie Clicker, you quickly get buildings that will generate cookies for you without you having to click, and it doesn't take long for that to be much better than clicking the cookie yourself, making clicking the cookie pointless unless you get something like a Click Frenzy from a golden cookie.

Granted, except that some of those "serious" books are filled with nonsense and misinformation, so it doesn't help the situation.

I wish for Progress Quest to get a sequel.

Granted, but when the gamer zealots take power, this game (a "parody" of true crpgs) is considered blasphemous, everybody involved in its creation is executed in the most cruel ways possible, and all copies are destroyed.

Granted black holes now shoot jets of space confetti at speeds greater than 99% of the speed of light. It's all fun and games until the jet hits your face.
