yogsloth: Well fuck me, I don't fucking know then.
You can't put swear words in all caps anymore, you'll just get an continous loop. so I use "FuCK" and "SHiT" and it works grandly

Really? FUCK this...
Seems like the game is taking an unexpected turn.
Back now, and catching up, but on mobile. Only a few, very simple things will be placed before bed tonight.

Krypsyn: Also, I am not sure what you are implying here. I barely vote-hopped at all in Game 35, did I Bookwyrm627? ;)
Nope, you were very consistent, and that helped kill you. O :)

Pretty much what Vanilla Town is for: target scum and eat bullets.

They aren't for quick-hammering power roles, usually, but I chose artistic freedom. :P

You did do your job quite well, eating two kills and a role block before going down.

Like the cliche says: Even a broken clock gets it right a couple times a day. :P
Personally, I have no problem with your so-called "breaking the game open" with the caveats that:
1) It does not involve the wording of PMs.
2) It does not involve everyone role claiming Day 1 in order to perceive the false claims.

While normally, I think PMs ought to be avoided entirely, given that some of the flavor, at least in mine, potentially shed some light on another player, I took that to mean we were either meant to share these as clues (if they are) or it wouldn't hurt as its part of the flavor McGuffin. That said, I revealed the essence of the information without using any of the exact words.

Of course, I wouldn't be surprised if the majority of the PMs indicated a similar desire as dear Flubby, for a share of the Adderly family fortune regardless of faction.
Hey guys, sorry for disappearing. My best man became a daddy the other day and I was mostly drunk during the weekend :D
I'll catch up and join in later today.

yogsloth: Oh, Uncle Gene. Sometimes I just want to bash your plump, middle-aged face in with a lead pipe just to hear the delightful crunching sounds of your ocular bones exploding in a fine particulate mist. You big silly goober!
avatar
CSPVG: My dear, if I have to spend another moment as your Uncle Gene, I may just let you.
Priceless!
avatar
yogsloth: So anyway, serious question:

Does anybody want to take a real shot at cracking this open?

I ask only because last time, in RW's game, there seemed to be a feeling that breaking the whole game open the first Day wasn't much fun. Well, surely not for Scum, anyway!

I think I've got a general sense of how to do it again. Thanks for keeping up the roleplay, everybody.

If not, we can just keep futzing and foobing about until eventually we randomly lynch someone because we don't like the cut of his jib. Like usual.

Let me know.
WE COULD ALL SHARE OUR NAMES...IN CAPS....WITH AN APPROPRIATE LEVEL OF PROFANITY.

(testing premise....had trouble all day yesterday)

If you ran a political campaign, I would most certainly vote for thee. This is a man we need! Well, a fictional woman.

I was testing the forum software.

All caps, for those words, is no go.

Changing the last letter to lower case was also not gonna post.

Changing the vowels worked, but there's still too many variables to definitively state the issue.

We now return to our regularly scheduled programming.
