It should be noted that we did have a droid death and he flipped town. Thus, some droids definitely fall in the same faction as the crew.
As to the use of Jailkeeper, its use can also be considered a form of investigation in itself. If you block the killer, then the absence of a night kill is indicative one either blocked the killer or defended the victim. None of this information is available at all when its not been used.
Furthermore, just because HijacK threw out numbers and math, doesn't make them mean what he says. Right now there is only a 1 in 15 chance of saving someone at random by your logic (both times, actually double that when you consider blocking the killer). Are you now going to use this a an excuse on why not to use your role again? Why not just wait until there are far fewer players and thus much better odds it will work? Heck, we can do the same thing and just keep no-lynching until our odds of success are greater than 50/50, of course the game is over by then, but anyway...
