Vitek: You know, at least we useless savvy veterans were usually able to get along. :-(

There is so much drama around recent games.
I like you.

I'll lynch you last.

HijacK: Armor plating I said! Wait. What's CrossFit?
Basically, a hard core gym type of thing. My sister's husband, in particular, travels around and competes in their trials/games/tournaments (or whatever they are called).
Yay, my GPU died!

Don't quit! I thought the general idea was to just ignore HijacK's insults, at least that's what I did >_>
Maybe you will reconsider?

Also, @carrioncrow you are right, observers shouldn't post in here.
Get out bler!!

QuadrAlien:
Well, without replacements, you could either modkill us both, or the other players could lynch us so it's over with.

Course, the thought does occur that those who are jumping in to comment might as well be used as new players. They're already here, why not make use of them.

The main reason is that they have been discussing the game in the Observer Thread. Even without spoilers, the speculation there could taint the game here when they replace in. For example, perhaps they thought one player was certainly scum in the Observer Thread, but then they replaced in as a scumbuddy of that same player? In the end, depending on how the discussion in the Observer thread has gone, it may or may not be a good idea to pull replacements from there. It has been done in the past, as I recall, but it is up to the moderator to judge suitability.

Eh, I have no experience with that, but it could go either way. Who knows? It may even stimulate discussion and prevent another day 1, or it can muddy the waters beyond recognition. I've started reading observer threads post-game a couple of games ago and I noticed the people in the observer threads often have polarizing opinions compared to the players. At this point we might as well try it.

Just for reference, the difference between Carrion's posts was of 6 minutes. I do not think anything from the original post was changed.

I don't dismiss it as out of hand in this situation, but it is up to QuadrAlien.

Yeah, the post just looks like an honest merge to me. It was an out-of-game type post to the moderator anyway, hence why I didn't mention the edit in my reply (technically still an edit, but not the sort of post for which I generally worry about illicit edits).

mchack: Also for everyone: Did you notice that there's no Station anywhere in that role/rank/title whatever?
avatar
yogsloth: You wanna try reading that one again?
nope. I read it just fine. And I already answered that. In the (let's call it) role there's no station. period.

avatar
mchack: yes, you said so. You alleged I wanted an in on yogsloth wagon,

yogsloth: Did that happen? Link please.

I also hope rware will reconsider. Isn't there something about captains and sinking ships?
We're locked in here, people, there is no escape. You've got to learn to deal with the others in this situation, regardless of how well you get along with them. This happens when you get locked in with people you don't know, there will be conflict and contention, the point is to get past all of that and still work together towards a common goal. The captain of a vessel should be the first one working towards that and facilitating that happening. But now the captain just wants to abandon ship? Odd.

So, let's get back to focusing on the situation at hand. Enough distraction. I asked this before, I don't know if most glazed over it and didn't see it or if no one cares to answer, but, I'll ask again to be sure:

Who here is a droid/robot/non-human? Who here is human? Do we have any other life-form types that would like to identify themselves?

I'm human, if that wasn't figured out already.

HijacK: ...
While RW's reaction seems a little out of proportion, this is really not the way reasonable people who strive to get along with others respond.

You've got to do better, HijacK.
I'll take a wild shot at a guess of a possibility and say:

Maybe CarrionCrow wants to leave because he is an intruder but is being told by other the intruders how to handle the situation (read: play the game) rather than letting him do it how he wants.

Your RP is exceedingly silly on this one. It's a game. If you're playing with people that you find annoying, that increases the chance that you're going to say fuck this and quit.
