If you feel like trying something different, I suggest taking a good strong cup of coffee, drinking the first quarter of it, then slowly adding in a nice cold Mountain Dew. It's great for a burst of energy followed by profuse sweating, shaking, and a feeling like your intestinal tract is trying to literally escape your body. =)
"It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion. It is by the beans of Java that thoughts acquire speed, the hands acquire shakes, the shakes become a warning. It is by caffeine alone I set my mind in motion."

Eloquent, but wordy. Think I'll stick with "this is gonna hurt, but it'll be fun in the meantime". =)

Think I've gotten to the point of the sale where I just wish all the bundles would be displayed.
I get that GOG wanted to go big day 1. That's fine, I stopped gnashing my teeth over the whiplash shift in speed and variety a couple days ago. (Mostly.)
But if the bundles are the only new games in town for this event, might as well break them out. People on a budget aren't going to keep on speed buying, they'll be waiting for the glacial bundle distribution flow to finally show what's out there to buy.
Also, when the smoke clears, any thread person who doesn't have the freebie games can get them from me.

I broke the Riddick threshold and now I'm holding my purchases. Maybe later I'll reach the "Oh-fuck-what-have-I-done?" mark.
The problem is that we will have to wait until the last days of the sale to know all the featured bundles.

I guess it makes sense from a drawing attention standpoint, but once people are here, they'll hold off if they have any experience with these sales.
