CarrionCrow: That always strike me as a little bit odd. You'd think that a company in Germany wouldn't have much trouble doing a native language version. Guess they didn't feel like spending whatever time and money it'd take.
You picked an interesting one for your impulse buy. Sacred is large. Very, very large. Boatloads of side quests, tons of running around. If you play it and end up liking it, Sacred 2 is even larger. Think I read somewhere that it's two or three times the size of Sacred 1. If anything, that feels like a conservative statement.
Oh there is a German version. Just not on GOG. Probably caught in some licence hell - different publisher, whatever. Most of the time GOG can aquire the local(ized) versions of games if they aren't available on release. Not in this case it seems. Well it's my fault for not checking.
I've heard that the game is large. Is there some meat to the story at least, or is it just click-to-kill and loot'n'level?
Also I'm torn between the vampiress, that demoness or the seraphim - those strike me as the most interesting characters to play with.
