The game looks very promising. Wishlisted of course. :) Now I'm waiting for Alaloth: Champions of the Four Kingdoms. The developers gave me hope via Twitter that the game will arrive here, so I'll be patient. :)
Looks is interesting.
Like the Dragonlance lettering. Very classy DnD reference in my book(s) :)
I've been waiting for this for a long time.

So glad to see it is coming to GoG, and I hope this announcement means it is coming soon.

Carradice: Like Blackguards and Blackguards 2. Recommended.

viperfdl: Also like Drakensang and Drakensang: River of Time.
Very right! I own the disks... They belong in GOG. Hopefully, one day.

Yeah, maybe one day. Too bad that the planned third part will never be developed.
Oh, btw.: I forgot to mention the Realms of Arkania trilogy which is also from of the Dark Eye universe and on gog. The different names are just due to different licenses.
Anyone know when the game will be incoming?
*stare* This looks like it could be amazing. Wishlisted.

"Sorry for the latest radio silence - this year comes with a lot of unscheduled disruptions for each of our team members.

As soon as we know some hard facts, we'll asap write an update about the development schedule of the game. Our business guy is currently working on it, while the rest of us is trying to make a living with other jobs meanwhile. We'll need to wait for the outcome of those talks, then we can make definite plans when the completion of the game will take place."

Well it doesn't sound all that promising does it ? perhaps they will get to make their game sometime in the next decade, i just hope everything will work out for them eventually.

What a fucking year this have been.

Unless they (hopefully) find a publisher willing to put funds towards finishing and wrapping up development.
And even then we might look at a release in (late) 2021/2022 at the earliest.

From bad to worse, yep let's hope for the best because i was looking forward to it but it's 2020 so i shouldn't really be surprised.

Saying "when (and how)" they'll complete it seems promising to me. Worrying would have been "when (or if)".
And release dates of "when it's done" should be the norm really. Granted, preferably to implement all features and squash all bugs, not for being unable to develop due to needing to do something else to earn some money (*ahem* because our society still flatly refuses to fix that problem it itself creates, like plenty of others as well), but still, better than releasing something incomplete and/or broken to stick to a date.

So...they got the Kickstarter funds from us and then additional money from the local government (100k €) but somehow they have to work other jobs now. Heh.

First and last Kickstarter project I will ever back. The absolute lack of communication from these wankers makes me especially regret the time I spent drumming up support for their Kickstarter campaign back then.
