Trailer was good, and it gave a lot of information about what they're going for (including the fact that time stops on the world map when you're not moving), but it also reveals some criticisms I would likely have about the game.
For example:
* There may be a bunch of races available, but they all appear to be "humans, except..."; no robot or monster races, for example. (Of course, robots might legitimately not fit into the setting, but it feels like monsters would.)
* The class list isn't that interesting; every class is something that has been done many times before. Where are lesser seen classes, like Gadgeteer, Rune Knight, and Blue Mage (or something similar)? Where are unique classes that you don't see in any other RPG, like Lunarian, Cannoneer, or Viking?
* Having to make permanent choices for your characters, which makes it harder to experiment with the diversity of abilities the game has to offer. Also, if it's anything like the rules it's derived from, your stats change little during the course of the game, and you're basically locked into initial choices.
* Tactical combat is a lot slower than non-tactical combat. For example, on Youtube I find a video of Bard's Tale 1 remastered where the party kills a group of 396 berserkers in less than 4 minutes; a battle in Final Fantasy Tactics can easily take far longer, even with there being less than a dozen enemies in the fight.
* Also, I am concerned about the possibility of too many misses at low levels, on both sides of combat.
Edit: Why the low rating?
