Panaias: A lot of games are released on GOG. Which one is it you cannot install?

Dejavous: yeah it's like trying to get candy from a baby, all I'm hearing is "whaa whaa it doesn't work" not the Game ______ will not download for me.
Maybe because they're getting here through the game's forum link, don't blame them for the bad forum design.

It's Pillars of Eternity 2 Deadfire by the way.

The game's launch was set at 10AM PDT, it's been close to one hour, and we got from not recognizing the game was launched (grayed out install button), to buy button, to failed installation and not authorized message.

you do realize that technical issues do arise on ocassion and the team at GOG is probably jumping through hoops to get the situation resolved right? give them a break if it's not up in 3 hrs then start complaining....
I have the same issue.

How do you get to that arbitrary timespan? When you backed a game a year ago you want to be among the first to play it. If something doesn't work then you should have the right to report the issue immediatly. In a polite manner of course.

again, GOG is the server your "downloading" the game from they could be having any sort of issues with conectivity or storage, WHO KNOWS.... they are just the equivelent of FED EX as for 3 hrs it common etiquette that time be given depending on the issue it can take up to 3 hrs (I'm IT I know) the game will be available as soon as they resolve the delivery issue their (GOG) having.

Your right you have the right to complain that you didn't recieve that toy 10 min. ago, just like little billy throwing a tantrum in the middle of the store because mom said no. it just make people shake their head and wonder as they try to ignore.

Oh boy, conectivity issues on a game's launch but it's unheard of... if there only was a way for them to know and prepare in advance.

They deserve to be criticized for the issues that their competitors are not having, it's bad for THEIR business afterall.

You've obviously never dealt with Blizzard. XD Every release this happens to them and every release they never learn from it. I'm not saying this excuses GOG, but it happens a lot to a lot of providers so we can't cast out GOG as the only one to screw up in this way.

What's the issue? Why can't you play it?
Is "fig backer" some new slang for "gibbering madman"?

I only got GOG to play gwent and thought maybe they were going to be the next steam

But now forgot it I cant even play darkest dungeon without issues and I cant play PoE at all

LOL I spent 10 min looking for FIG or a derivative of it, then said oh new release, obsidian, and saw pillars of eternity II was due to be released today, and went ohhhh, and as the OP was posting 22 min after supposed release, it clicked....

I did on Diablo 3's launch, and never again. I'm not casting out GOG either, but this is the first time I changed from Steam which I've never had any problems on, to GOG so there you go.

This thread is pure gold. 27 posts before somebody even mentions the name of the game, and everybody is salty about having to wait even so much as a day to play a game.

If the posts in here are what the average user is like, I dread to think of what kind of messages GOG's support team must face on a daily basis...
