And the refund is done!

Thank you GoG staff! I don't have any hard feeling with the GoG team. They are not the CDPR CEO/PR Cyberpunk77 division.

And all of you guys who are waiting for the money good luck and don't give up!

When did you send in your request? Just to know exactly where they are in the process :p

Dec 18. but i'm requested a wallet refund yesterday if it's matter something.
Yeah it does. The Wallet Refund is meaningless in this. As most of us are likely do not want to associate with GOG/CDPR at least for a while. And some of us want to tell them that. Most effective means for a consumer is with our wallet, aka. taking back our money, not paying for pre-orders, not buying anything from them (for a while) until its released and reviewed.

...and for GOG its kinda meaningless. They have our money. It doesn't matter much if its spend on Cyberpunk, Witcher3 Ultra final gaming edition, or some other shmuck from their store. Our money is gone.

It will mark one month since my refund request at the end of the week.

If saturday/sunday nothing is done then I'm gonna ask a refund by paypal... Barely played the game (8 hours) when most of it was just me afk game not playing at all (To avoid closing the game and getting another update that would force me to uninstall/download again), my saves only reach the moment when you get to your apartment...
Well after a month waiting for a reply I finally got my refund. I opened a ticket on December 19 and after no answer I opened a new ticket today January 19 in which I referred the to the previous ticket, and in less than an hour I got a response that the tickets merged and I got my refund. There is something fundamental wrong with the tickets priorities.
For clarity I went for the GOG wallet from the beginning as I changed banks/credit.cards after the pre order.
Good luck everyone.

I've been waiting for around 3 weeks and no response from the team. In this case i wanted to refund 3 games i didn't like so i think it still applies to the Cyberpunk Refund situation anyway.

DIV1NEEEE: im still waiting my refund too, 22 december.
Same. Requested on the 22nd and received an auto-reply pushing GOG credit.

Since confirming my desire for an actual refund that day, I've received nothing.

I suspect it's a squeaky wheel situation, but they've been sitting on my £50 for well over a year and a half, so I'm not in a mad rush to chase their no-doubt over-worked support staff.

Having looked up my original order e-mail from June 2019, I found the (attached) banner from it particularly amusing/galling:

"Thank you for believing in us and buying a DRM-free copy of Cyberpunk 2077"

Fanboys are defending this, so I wish all refunders, good luck. https://www.extremetech.com/gaming/318350-cd-projekt-red-denies-any-plan-to-offer-refunds-for-cyberpunk-2077
I've just received an update on my ticket, offering a refund by PayPal or BACs; though the expectation was set that it might be another month before the payment is actually made.

I didn't chase the ticket, so presumably they're just getting around to our position in the support queue.

It'll be interesting to see if DIV1NEEEE gets a response today as well, given the timing of our respective requests.
It's now been 31 days for me and still no refund. I can only conclude that GOG is a lost cause. In a serious company, heads would be rolling over a screwup of this magnitude. But GOG clearly isn't serious.

The AAA industry is such a cesspool right now, they get away with nearly anything in regards to the consumers. Remember, they make us agree to throw all rights away to use the softwware at all, this is why pirates actually have an argument about dealing with data today..

I would not give up, though, the customers have a right to a dispute here, and GOG wants its reputation kept intact here. It's just that so much industry doesn't have to care, they really don't have to either, we are at their mercy.

Update: the refund just came in.

My sympathies to those who are still waiting.
also waiting for way over a month now, for a refund on my paypal not their damn store. I am going to request a refund every single day and spam the hell out of them now. this is just insane.
